Hey there Ed, yet another question. Dont wanna step on any toes or anything but why is that you will not use Kustom shop stuff anymore? Business relations go south with Kustom shop? But the main question i have is, the HoK paints are not water based, but what is the solvent to be used to clean out the guns when using the HoK paints? They are expensive paints for practice, but next big project i want good paint, any recommendations? Thank you like always!

Thanks Ed, this is the sort of video I have been looking for, just started airbrushing and will be using it primarily to paint special effects make up, masks and prosthetics, but wanted to make my business logo myself using the airbrush and stencil's, but wasn't sure how to use the stencils correctly to achieve what I wanted, watched these and now I know. Thank you so much.

Hi, I'm from South Africa. I have watched most of your clips on you tube.We are doing spray on airbrush tattoos for almost 3 years now and wanted to do something different than the normal stencil tattoo.We started doing 3D tattoos.I found that our ink we use doesn't have the same colour as the 2K car paint. Is there maybe a way, that you can do a 3D tattoo from using a stencil, and we also have difficulty with the scorpion tattoos.Any advise? Thanks, love your tips. you are very talented.

Love your videos, can't stop watching them. I am into rc cars and i'm learning to airbrush so i can paint them. So, i'm curious, have you thought about doing a video for us rc freaks on how paint airbrushed flames on rc bodies? Other videos on yb are poor quality and lack the artistic abilities. Love to see one!

Beautiful Art! This is an invitation to see an artist theory it is saying the forward momentum of light forms the forward flow of ‘time’ within each individual reference frame. The wave-particle duality of light forms an interactive process forming a blank canvas that the individual can interact with turning the possible into the actual. I believe this is what we are seeing when we see an artist at work. We are seeing new light photons coming into existence relative to the actions of the artist

@slipsonic Yes you are supposed to keep the air on all of the time. I do not when I am videoing because I am talking all of the time and when the air is on it drowns out my voice.And yes you can turn down the air when doing a stencil.

@Drumskankidge11 жыл бұрын
u could use sticky tack aerosol for the backside, so u dont have to always press down with your fingers... cleaner edges should be the outcome....unless you're looking for a glow effect.
@Bensidhe11 жыл бұрын
If you work on T-shirts, set your air settings to around 30 PSI to get the paint into the fabric , if you use a stencil that has fine line like this , spray from a little further away so you don't get as heavy a build up on the stencils and get runs , etc. Water based paints like Createx Wicked Colors work best on textiles . Heat set with a T-shirt press if you have one, or let it dry and and then put it by itself in a dryer set on high for 30 minutes . Wash in COLD water, and it will last.

@bbmustang01 They only make a single action and a double action. A single action has paint come out the minute you pull the trigger. And a double action has air come out when you push down and paint when you pull back.

@hanzithaking With the coverage issue, it sounds like you're spraying way too wet, trying to get coverage in 1 coat. The trick is to build up multiple light coats to get full coverage (about 3 or 4). I'm not sure about the football shape dots. I'd have to see a picture of it. SgtM from theairbrushforum(.)com.

Ilija Kovacevic i've been meaning to get into it for awhile, just can't find the time, but the first thing i thought of when i saw the 3D skull thing was it was vacuum formed, which apparently you can build yourself if you have any kind of building ability at all. sculpting may be hard part, lol. my idea for vacuum-forming was to make 'signs' for bands and offer a promotional package (shirts, guitar picks and such since i own a screenprinting shop) and 'sales booth' kit to sell their shit at shows. ya gotta market that stuff cuz it just doesn't sell itself ~ ya gotta get creative, eh? lol. my VF'ed pieces would have lights at an extra cost.
