Part 1 And this is a Thai listening practice podcast for beginners with KruGift. Hello, everyone! Today we’re in a garden. This garden is a beautiful natural place full of love that my dad left for us. It’s located in Ratchaburi. Since it’s the festive season, and this time of year is all about giving gifts, today we’ll talk about gifts I’ve received, focusing on this year. This year, I’ve had the chance to meet many students who came to visit Thailand. We met up, and many of them brought me gifts. Let’s start with the first one! This is from PêeTan (or Daniel). After watching my videos and noticing the audio wasn’t very clear, he kindly bought me this microphone. It’s so great! I’ve used this mic to record short Reels and some podcast episodes. It’s incredibly useful as it improves sound clarity and even has noise cancellation! Amazing, right? PêeTan also gave me valuable feedback and suggestions about creating videos. He recommended focusing on clear audio and making more Reels and KZbin Shorts. I’ve started implementing his advice, producing more content, and I plan to create even better learning materials for Thai learners worldwide. Thank you so much, P’Tan, for this tiny little lovely microphone. I appreciate it a lot! Next, I received a gift from one of my students, KunDita, who came all the way from Indonesia. Interestingly, she’s excellent at speaking Korean! KunDita is such an inspiring language learner, as she can communicate in Thai within a very short period of time. When KunDita came to Thailand, she brought me a gift from Korea. Knowing I love perfume, she gave me “Late Autumn” perfume. She was so thoughtful to choose this because I was born in autumn. Isn’t that sweet? This perfume smells so fresh and truly reminds me of the autumn season. I even sprayed it on today. It’s so portable and convenient to carry everywhere. Thank you so much, KunDita, for this gift and many others. I wish you success in learning Thai and a wonderful life in Thailand! Now for the next gift, which I just received recently. This one is from KunJason. Thank you so much for the “Flower Fairies” book! It’s an illustrated book featuring flowers. KunJason and I had a chat and discovered that we both love flowers. I’m a big fan of vintage items, and I love flowers and nature. This book is gorgeous and portable, and I especially like it because it features winter flowers, which perfectly match the season we’re in now. I even wore a scarf today-haha! Thank you so much, KunJason. It’s such a lovely surprise to receive this straight from the UK. I was so excited when I opened it. Thank you again, KunJason. I hope you succeed in learning Thai too!

Part 2: The next gift I received is this fabric bag. This bag was a gift from a guest who stayed at my house. At our place, we welcome travelers from all over the country to come and relax. This lovely bag is made from “Pâa kăaw máa” fabric, which has a traditional Thai pattern. In the past, men in Thailand often used “Pâa kăaw máa” as a multipurpose cloth, especially for bathing. This patterned bag is very practical and can hold many items. Today, I used it to carry books, personal belongings, and even my iPad. I really appreciate this meaningful gift and absolutely love it. The last thing I’d like to talk about has significantly changed my life, especially in terms of health. This gift was from one of my students, KunEve, who is learning English with me. We had a conversation in English about women’s issues, specifically menstrual pain. I’ve always struggled with this every month, often to the point where I couldn’t work or live my daily life properly. KunEve introduced me to “Seed Cycling”. After trying it, the results have been amazing. My menstrual pain has improved significantly, and I’ve needed to take fewer days off-hahahaaa! It used to be so bad that I sometimes couldn’t teach, but now everything feels normal again. I’ve also learned a lot from her advice about eating healthy and incorporating beneficial foods into my diet. This year, I plan to focus on exercising and eating well to improve my overall health. One more thing I can’t leave out is a gift I gave to myself: books. I love reading and am always looking to improve myself. Reflecting back on the first podcast episode I created, I remember starting with excitement and a passion for sharing knowledge with those interested in learning from me. My ultimate goal has always been to help everyone gain valuable knowledge and make the most out of learning Thai. One book that has truly been life-changing for me is “Atomic Habits”. It taught me the power of small habits and how they can lead to significant improvements in life. This book has been a game-changer, showing me that life is short, and if we want to achieve something, we should combine discipline, love, and determination to make it happen. I firmly believe that with these elements, success is inevitable. As we celebrate the New Year and welcome 2025, I wish everyone endless happiness. May the joy from last year continue and grow. Don’t forget to connect with nature, too! To those learning Thai and listening to this podcast, I hope your listening skills improve greatly. Most importantly, remember to practice using the language. If you visit Thailand, don’t hesitate to try speaking-even small sentences from my clips can help you improve. That’s all for today! I’ve got some fruit waiting for me to harvest-haha! I’ll see you all in the next episode. Thank you so much. Goodbye~! 🙏👋
