Today I'm doing something totally different, something that anybody can do. This super easy technique creates a really pretty effect too!
Alcohol Ink Colours:
Papermill Rose Quartz
Ranger Patina
Ranger Pool
Ranger Raspberry
Pinata Brass
Mont Marte Gel Gloss
Pebeo Iridescent Precious Gold (straight out of the tube)
Please wear a respirator when using alcohol inks, you only get one set of lungs and you don't want to breathe in those fumes.

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. I have a 24'' (60cm) wood round placed on top of my lazy susan.
My metal spatulas are artist palette knives, they can all be purchased from fluid-art.co/

Sorry, had to ask that question before I forgot. The end result is fabulous. I had no idea you could do alcohol inks on canvas. I will have to give it a try. May I ask what you did with the sides? Do you think the alcohol ink would set well in the sides with the cling wrap? So pretty! I have the same stencil and have yet to use it so you gave me a wonderful idea. Thank you 😊 Great job 👏🏼

Huh? What? Gloss gel… I’m lost on what you were saying about the gloss gel. Could you possibly explain?

The gloss gel laid down before the paint stops the paint from seeping and bleeding under the stencil 😀

Would N-95 masks be sufficient?

I'm not sure if they would be sufficient, however, I'm not a pro regarding inks so maybe ask in an alcohol ink group for clarification. My friends who use inks wear respirators 😊
