So glad you posted this. Super helpful! I have a question: After I fired up my projector for the first time and tried playing a movie, I noticed a slight burning smell after a couple of minutes. I stopped the projector and looked to see if the film was melted but it looked fine. Would it be normal to smell the lamp while it's projecting?

Mine did not smell when playing a film. Is there dust on the lamp or film? The dust might 'burn' when coming in contact/near the lamp. Glad the video helped.

@@davidk4145 Turned out to be dust, thanks for the tip! Used some compressed air to clean out the innards of the projector and afterward it was much better.

And what are the odds its only 11 days old :D My frend, the thingy that cathes the film as its been through the machine, the big grey film wheel what are they called? And also if i dont have that particular one can i just use a regular film spool without any film in it ofc or does it need to be something special/particular like the one you have there? I think you are talking about the take-up reel. If you do not have the one shown but have something similar you should be able to use it but you will need to manually wind it around the pick-up reel (it won't attach automatically). Good luck.

Where can you find the power cord for these?

It’s a special cord that came with the projector. I don’t know that you can buy a replacement as it is not a typical power cord. You could always look on eBay and see if somebody is selling just a cord by itself.
