I enjoyed that part of it to and I enjoyed the game but it didn’t feel like I was playing assassins creed. It felt like an entirely different genre. I want them to get back to assassins creed style of the past where you’re actually an assassin. This could be an entirely different genre they could create for games like Valhalla.

If you press C (default crouch/parkour down) right before/as you hit a low obstacle Eivor will quickly jump/vault over it like Conor could in AC:3. Probably a lot more well-known, but if you press crouch while sprinting Eivor will perform a slide into the crouched position. Obviously the key is C when playing on a keyboard but I believe its O on Playstation and B on Xbox by default. If you didnt know this and it helped you give this a like so other can see it!

This is one of the few games that seems to have been able to make fur that at least kind of looks like fur. Usually it looks so ridiculous I don't even like wearing armor with fur on it, but I have to say it looks very good here.

I've always been a fan of the series, even the less popular games. What I've liked about this particular game is that it makes you actually work to progress to certain areas (assuming you're not using hacks, cheats or cbeeses). I almost feel like if ubisoft partnered with bethesda and made an assassins game we would have either an amazing addition to the franchise or the start of a beautiful series. That's just my thought though

yeah maybe trouble is i fi do that i turn off a lot of ac fans who do know? at this point with the franchise going so long there are more people that have played then havent if ya get what i mean? for sure might be good one day to to do basics of ac etc but with every new one slight things are added taken away!

Great advice. I have a beginner question. Do you have match the 3 types of armor with the same weapons to get bonuses? If you do then I will have to change all my armor to match the bow and axe. No where can I find out and not for a serious amount of searching.

i went for every yellow mark on the norwegian map, then i got distracted by views before finishing the Dots.. I was a bit higher level when leaving Norway then what makes sense :P

I dont get the big problem with "you wont need to replace ur armor like u did in odessey-they want you to keep ur armor along the way". While i can support the change from the extreme amount of random gear in odessey u obtain, u can always upgrade the ones u like and u can change ur appearence of the armor u like, just like valhalla. But the system of upgrading gear in valhalla compared to odessey is one of the few things that valhalla dose better than odessey. It gives you a rewarding reason to freeroam compared to where u just buy the upgrade with money in odessey. Tho that dosent mean odesseys freeroam is unrewarding when its so much more fun in general than valhalla.

So AC: V is the first AC I've really played. Which ones are worth going back to in 2020/21? Its really kinda weird I haven't gotten in the series sooner... I'd played some AC 1 at a friends when it was new and Ive beat most of the Far Cry games.

Ezio trilogy basically AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations that's what AC is all about although probably outdated gameplay wise Black Flag, Origins & Odyssey are fun as hell the rest don't need to be played

The spinning combat icons above the health bar? Like in the video when I perform certain combat moves with the controllers bumpers those combat icons start spinning for a few seconds then they disappear? Can somebody explain to me the significance of the icons and why they spin and disappear? That has to be informing me of something?

It’s whatever perk is active on the gear piece that is being used..the spinning icon is how much time you have left of the effectiveness of the perk

But HOW do you do a combo! I see no combo list in the game like Mortal Kombat. So how do I know what keys to press to perform a combo?

It's listed in the skill trees each section has one xtra ability ad tells you what button there are, there are no actual combos you press as such, just hold l1

The Forum is overflowing with comlaints about this & it seems to be connected to using the 20% discount with the 100 u-points & to my horror people who pre-ordered months ago are still waiting to hear from support on a fix after Ubi have taken thier cash. I made a 3rd attempt 2 hrs ago & used up another 100 points & BINGO SUCCESS ! So i updated support & asked them to return my lost 200 points & having gone through this nonsense 2 yrs ago when i bought Odessey they did sort it fairly quick but cos of Covid it may take longer. ANYWAY... My game has just finished downloading & i can't wait to play it. Thanks for the vid btw & a like & a sub from me. Cheers me ole mate.

3070m 8gb vram laptop 16gb ram and 5800h. I cap it at 90 on 1080p maxxed and was very surprised. I stopped origins a year ago cause it would drop to below 60-50 in alot of places. Valhalla looks good and runs very good. Ime. What specs are u??

Your lucky you can play Valhalla cos thousands of people like me have paid for the game & spent 100 u-points & don't have the game in the library. 404 error code is still going on with ubisoft for years.

you say it is not good to raid with the crew but you fail to even mention Jomsvikings. With them in your crew you can even take on monasteries in 100 level higher areas. You are able to outfit your Jomsviking with dual heavy even though you dont have the skill yet. You can also hire other people's Jomsviking from your barracks and some towns. You can practically build a crew out of mythic geared Jomsvikings this way. Do your research before attempting to make a guide. And for gods sake what kind of english is that? my ears are bleeding

Woah slow down insuly much. You can give feedback without being a dick. The raid system is broke as f. I can pretty much raid anywhere on my own. And even with the most basic jomsviking there's not much difference the ai is buggy and half time I ignore what they do while I carry on getting the resources so MAYBE DO YOUR RESEARCH also take A running jump ya prick
