Beginners Lifeskill Guide For EZ Lucent in Throne and Liberty

Lifeskills in Throne is a little bit barebones but high hopes there will be more added later on after the game has been out for longer than a few days to those who bought Early Access. This is by far no Black Desert or Archeage in terms of the Gathering or Crafting but I've still been enjoying the game so far. Here’s a tip, if you join the lv 30 lion/chimera boss dungeon make sure you stay in the dungeon since it is surrounded by water that you can fish and you get a chance at the big sac that guarantees a piece for crafting and other high end items.

The best feature for Fishing is to go into Settings > Gameplay > Content, scroll to the bottom and in the Fishing section uncheck "Fix Camera while Fishing". This will allow the camera to not pan to the right when you cast so you can better see your fish when it goes to the sides.

Fishing tip. The goal is to keep it near the middle of where you cast. If it goes too far to the left or right it will start going red and have a chance to escape. If you see the red pull the opposite way as much as you can without fully draining your stamina ( the green bar on the right) just keep pressing and releasing. Definitely do not stop pulling as it will 100% escape. Size of the fish affects how aggressively yhey will try to move making it harder to keep this balance. Once the fish stamina is drained you got it.

5:17 That's exactly what I thought too when I was starting, failed a lot of times and found it annoying until I finally got the hang of it. Now I am actually enjoying how the fishing mechanic works.

Keeping the fish in the center wad the best advice given to me! I wish Black deserts Fishing was fun like this

Fishing is easy. Pull opposite the direction the fish is moving, try to keep the fish centered. It will slowly decay even when not pulling occasionally you'll get a fish that will relax in the middle, you should let hi. Especially if the fish Icon is RED, this means you've hooked a big boy. It can take MINUTES to reel in the monsters that turn into rare and epic resources. A red Icon is ALMOST always catchable but sometimes, even perfect play isn't enough, most especially when you're at the lower levels of fishing. When you're dealing with harder fish(Red fish icon by Fish health), you'll often want to keep pulling toward the middle when they turn around while the lure is red. Remember that your goal is to keep the fish as close to where it took the bait as you can. Don't tweak the buttons. Always use your stamina completely when the line isnt red (Cause if red, 0 = break, so the ideal becomes using 99% of your stamina and then waiting)and ALWAYS let it fully replenish before pulling again unless the fish is about to give up and the lure is red (Then you just want to finish the fish off ASAP).

You forgot to mention you can also get salt from open dungeons at night! From killing players in pvp they usually drop salt

fishing learned the hard way :P try to keep your stamina bar, green one, above the fish bar, red one bait, if you go for bags, that contain the stones needed to upgrade your rod, use *only* the beginner bait i used fish filet bait, went from fishing level 9 to 10, not a single bag used the beginner bait, 2 throws and voila, big bag.. and right after a small bag

Thanks for the video. In terms of lifeskills, a video on where to find - like the stumps and such to get said ingredients would be cool, like we had rotations in bdo. I’m looking forward to the crafting one also. I playing a bow and wand.

@@TeddyTwighlite I would like to know were to get worms or lures ingredients for fishing. And for fishing poles and what enimies in what locations to kill to get those types of ingredients. I’m not so interested in cooking at the moment. But gathering and fishing and all aspects yes. I may be a whale but I don’t see a reason yet to spend money. There will be more gear in future updates and more dungeons and such. So for now I just want to focus on lifeskills.

Worms are found by chopping any logs, fishing rods are obtained from the quest and sundries vendor. The video shows it on the fishing section I started focusing on Fishing and cooking when I realized I could make lucent to pay for the season pass before spending all that I can while people are still finding out about the game

@@TeddyTwighlite smart. I paused at level 13 at the contract manager lira. I saw a video from another creator and he warned about gearing up too fast and not leveling up gear in a more efficient way. I thought oh snap what other mistakes can I make. My wife already had to restart a new toon. She was rushing to level and gear up and ran out of materials and had issues killing in higher areas because she chose a pvp weapon build. I chose bow after watching her and realized kiting with a bow they might be week to. After watching the pvp videos I realized ranged and wand would work for my play style. Ranged while not the most powerful will keep me out of nuke range and wand will let me nuke so bam. As it turns out I’m killing high level mobs with a green level 1 bow and level 1 green chest, just by kiting with the bow- running in circles while shooting.

Eh I'm accustomed to having to go and gather the materials when you use them all. Sure starting a new toon would be easier but I'm gonna use the parts to either transfer to a purple or use it for another build I might wanna play around with

As a console player I think I might be dropping BDO for this. Bdo is better in many ways, but its nice to not be years behind on content.

That's the same sentiment I keep hearing. It's nothing compare to bdo but isn't behind on content or killing it's content off in favor for a group of players. Whether they're here to stay or fail in a year, it's fun and worth the try being free and all. Just don't spend money on lucent, you can grind it all easily unlike Black Desert

First, you can't craft blue equipment, and second, you can buy solt from the Sesonpass shop

1st you can using the lithograph option in your inventory, 2nd you need the gear to make it's lithograph for the great success attempt. 3rd ifnyoure talking about sollent, you can cook food to increase the amount you get per kill and open world dungeons in a group for 30mins can get 1mil or more so you can save or coins for more important things lol

Nope this is an active game, not mainly afk, and the lifeskills aren't a main part. Just something to do on the side or while you wait for your guild
