This "simple" album is very beautiful. I almost think that I could do this on my own, watching your tutorials, but I will have watch several times. What I am not sure about is how to decide what paper to use since the one you used is most likely no longer available.

I'm sure you'll do just fine selecting your own papers to use. One thing I've done before when deciding what print to use is removing it from the paper pack, laying it down in front of me and maybe another print to see how I like the look of the two together on a page. have fun creating yours. thank you for visiting my channel. Hi Shellie, I did not bend it backwards because I knew it was a big no no. However, I rewatched your video and what I found was I did not have it in the upright position when placing the last two strips on the outer edges. I kept rewinding and pausing the video and somehow missed that the album needs to be upright. Should I just add the outside corner strips again over the broken ones? This was completely my newbie fault. So sorry! I’m glad you’re here to help.

I always recommend using Tyvek. You may want to google "alternates to Tyvek in mini albums" and see if someone has a good substitute out there.

Hola. El sistema de enlace funciona excelente. No tengo problemas y me encanta. Yo uso cartulina de 65 libras o 110 libras, puedes usar cualquiera de ellas. El tablero de partículas es de peso medio y excelente para estos álbumes para las cubiertas y la columna vertebral. Las tiras blancas son Tyvek y un material especial que no se romperá. Hi and thank you. Yes you can however, you will need to adjust your measurements for the size album you are using. If you are using a 7 x 9 album , that's 1/2" taller and wider

I’ve been studying album making for at least 6 months now. My first album and decided to follow Shellie’s tutorial. I’m sad to say that the very last step in building the album, when I went to close it, the spine broke! Now I know why most put a space between the front and back on the spine. Maybe I did something wrong, as I said it’s my first album. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Diane . Did you wrap your chipboard the same way I did (each piece individually) or did you connect several pieces together then wrap? If you wrapped exactly as I did, it's impossible for it to break. However if you used one full sheet to wrap, it won't work. If you used a full sheet to wrap your chipboard and spine together, then you would need that spacing. Please email a picture of what your album looks like so I can help you correct it without tossing it in the garbage. Email me at [e-mail] Let's try to fix it.

Hi Voni. I do prefer a cleaner way of adhering photos, sometimes I use the ATG style double sided tape runners, but it can get expensive. If not that, then I use my art glitter glue carefully.

Hi Laura. Tyvek is a material that is hard to tear that I use to ensure my album binding of chipboard covers/spine doesn't ever come apart.

Really messed the spine part up--right before adding the pretty paper to the cover...decided to start over....TIP: from this I learned never make your very first one as a gift...make your first one for yourself...you learn from your mistakes :(
