I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos, but especially your card videos. I've started to use more and more of your techniques with my own cards and love it! I see scrapbooking paper/designer paper in a completely different way now. I find myself looking through my stash for papers that I can cut apart, fussy cut, etc., to use in layered cards. I love, love, love this !!! The way you squished your back ground paper makes the pieces so attractive. I've seen other artists roll the edges of the paper, but bending and squshinging it is a whole new approach that looks more loved and used through the years. Makes it look more vintage. Used and loved !!!! These are actually very beautiful !!!!! lol

i love how you smush, tear & bend the papers. tearing & distressing vintage papers makes them feel like they are decades old. i also like adding distress inks to the edges to add to the worn feel.

You gave me a great idea for something to try. I have a little bag of flax that I bought to try spinning into yarn. I've had it for a few years and haven't felt like doing that. So now I'm going to try using it in my art instead for adding little scribbly, stringy bits. =)
