something I don't do enough of. you got some cracking images there Steve. love the loco at 10:50, the old diesel at 22:30 and that dial at 23:20 - the light oon that is first class mate (pardon the pun!!) 🙂

All really nice images Steve, my favorite is the one @24:00, but as you mentioned, it would've been better without the white car there and I’m sure that trying to clone it out wouldn't be an easy task. You left Betsy at home? I see other people walking their dogs, I know, I know, you don’t want her running all over the train station. Be well.

Nice images , if you or any followers ever over york way , there's a grear rail museum ( or at least there was when i was on holiday that way a few years back ) that has some fabulous exhibits to see and photograph . A lot of the heritage railways are registered charities and run by volunteers, so although its free to visit some of them , please consider a small donation in the donation box if you are able - it all goes into preserving the machinery and heritage for future generations . If you like photography of machinery , have you been to the RAF museum at cosford ? It's great , free entry. Just pay for parking . Top tip : You'll need a fairly wide lens as it's hard not to cut off edges of planes, etc, in the frame as i found some exhibits i couldn't back up enough with a 27mm lens .

Brilliant Steve I shoot in monochrome when photographing the moon I find it helps with details, a question for you , u gave the tip of insulation tape over the view finder to stop any light getting in wen doing long exposure, would that work the same for long exposure in astrophotography 🤔🤔

Hello my lovely thank you, yes shoot monochrome and I usually put tape over the eyepiece for astro, aurora or long exposure, it's better to be safe than get home and a light has hit the camera and shows up on the image. I use live view most of the time so just tape the eyepiece out of habit. Hope your well ❤️
