Very nice, Lois. The trees are always my favorite. A good mention about practicing sketching skills - so true! I pay close attention to what brushes and color mixes used as well. A big thumbs up on this tutorial. It’s a good composition for a beginner (me). It allows me to focus on many of the foundational techniques without getting overwhelmed.

Thanks so much 😊 I simply chose colours that appeal to me through a combination of experience and and translating what I see onto the page. Just pick any colours that you like and play around with them to see what works best for you!
