Beginning of South Padre Island Jetties

It was a gloomy overcast morning, I was searching for sheepshead but was surprised by a couple of nice trout. This is where the Isla Blanca Jetties at South Padre Island begin. Please subscribe, so that i can bring more content to my channel. Thank you!

Thanks for watching. When you use 10lb line and a 1000 size reel. You can't horse a fish in. So I have the drag just enough to enjoy the fight and not lose it. I see it all the time, a guy using 50lb braid with a 6000 penn catching a 6 pound fish. I don't see the sport in that.

@reelsimple6342 ah I see, you can't see that in the video. Yeah those huge reels are excessive. I run a 3000. Perfect size to throw bait and lures imo.
