This along with the Bloody Tears from past year already make a great Castlevania medley when put together: Epic Bloody Tears - calmer Stalker - THE Beginning - Vampire Killer - and back to Bloody Tears, this time on Piano... 8.30 minutes of awesomeness. Bah, Atma could even upload it as another video, with GaMetal before the Beginning cut and shortened/smoothed transition into Stalker and piano Bloody Tears.

Outside of Lords of Shadow, it seems to be living through porting the older installments to other consoles and carrying the spirit of those games over quite nicely.

it's like megaman.... they keep releasing the old games, but that's it.... for me it's dead when you don't come up with good games in 5 years (even more for castlevania in my opinion, since i don't view the lord of shadow one like castelvania games)

gigaganon By that logic, then Final Fantasy is dead then. I'd say it's "undead" with the re-releases but "alive" when they make more games that are good for the series and only truly "dead" when it's discontinued and not being introduced or reintroduced period. But hey, opinions and agree to disagree and whatnot and I'm willing to say I don't care for the current state of the series too much either anyhow.

Yeah, that's why i was saying that megaman died, and didn't want castlevania to die too, cause it's not the case yet! Last game from megaman was megaman 10 in 2010 (i don't count xover.... we can't call that a game)

Best part of these two tracks side by side? Both of them are in Castlevania III at different points. Best part of the piano cover at the end? All THREE of these tracks show up in Castlevania IV and Rondo of Blood closely by each other, so that was a nice cherry on top for this double-feature.

Viral It depends if you count until Dracula X, SCV4, or SoTN as classic. Depending on these he would need to do Dance of the Holy Man in addition he would also need Divine Bloodlines and if he went all the way to symphony of the night he would have to do Castle Dracula. However The Tragic Prince would be a better song for GaMetal as it is by default an amazing rock song in SoTN. And even then he would need to do Iron Blue Intention from Bloodlines on the Genesis. Basically just keep em coming. I love this covers
