The S Linkage definitely makes a very good difference! I love it. I sold the EMA Linkage for my Master4 and kept the S Linkage with the bidirectional shock. I love it! Great riding, brother!

Love this. Very informative. I love my Extreme but the 1300 coil just sucks for me as I weigh 160lbs. Will have to investigate either getting the new Begode shock or the setup Vince sells. Haven’t had much opportunity to rip trails yet as the weather here has just been terrible and everything is a muddy mess. Exact opposite of the conditions in your video!

the most rocks i have ever seen in my whole life. lol. i’m still using the original orange spring/shocks . recently switch back to 1300# to prevent bottoming out. got the rebound wide open for extra fun bounce.🤙

You're the first EUC Rider I've heard wanting to get a one wheel because usually the when a one-wheeler converts to an EUC they don't hardly ride their one-wheel anymore if at all. So you're not an outcast all the one wheelers are lol.

I just started recently riding my onewheel again hahaha it's still a good time I get way more of a workout and I don't worry about breaking it constantly. It's also awesome when I have like 5 minutes to ride and don't want to lift a 100 pound wheel out of my car, I have a lot more fun going slow and doing stupid stuff on the onewheel then I do the unicycle. Jumping on the euc is the best though.

Been loving the new shock as well! So much fine tuning available, and so much less maintenance than the air shock. Kinda bummed my Extreme is on easy ride duty until I can get some replacement stanchions and cross brace. Those trails look dreamy! (also the clearances on the speaker and kickstand are all good, nothing clips)

Did your crack I guess? Did you have coil suspension? I won't coil suspension instead of my air shock but everybody I've seen having this problem with the extreme has had a cold shot and it makes me think it's bottoming out too hard or something

@@BANGbucketHEAD I do have the coil, and I have the same thought that it might speed up the breaking process, but I do think it would have happened eventually with my air shock as well. Good news is that Begode has redesigned the Stanchions to be thicker where the breaking has been happening. All and All I think the coil IS a huge upgrade

So it's a clone of a Tigon to a degree, where the air chamber is providing a sort of rapid progression for the shock. I'll be curious to see how well it holds up. Every single one of the begode air shocks I have had always develop leaks. If this one lasts and isn't too pricey, I'll probably want to pick one up for my master.

I was hoping it was like the Tigon but no I don’t think this actually has an air spring, it still has the thin solid piston, the Tigon you can see the air spring and then it’s wrapped in a coil. I’m not entirely sure what the psi in the Begode shock is doing, definitely affected tuning but not quite an air spring like the cane creek

For a street only setup (EX30), would you say their stock setup is good enough or still go with an after market S Linkage!?

I would expect it to work well for street riding. There is much less bumps on the street, it really only struggled to support me on drops to flat. As long as you’re not dropping off a bunch of stuff I would bet it’s plenty good for street use.

Pretty sure it’s in highest resolution 30fps superview iso 400 and maybe some ev comp, like one notch can’t remember positive or negative

@@trubttam sounds pretty close to my settings as well. Your ev comp is probably negative because gopro over-exposes the hell out of things. Thanks for the sanity check though, I'll start recording in higher res because that looks much better uploaded to youtube haha

@@defconzeroalso I just export the best bitrate I can from my editing software, any time I limit the bitrate it gets noticeably grainier, unfortunately this means my file sizes are huuge lol
