Man, it's tempting to try out the 134v X-way after watching your video. I love my Lynx, but I'm primarily an offroad rider, rarely going over about 30mph on the road. I'm pretty blown away that the suspension experience has been better for you than the Lynx. The idea of having even better offroad ride quality, more/cushier suspension travel, and lighter weight....That sounds amazing! Thanks for all of the great videos and if you know someone who wants a Lynx, let me know;).

Great review 👍 I look forward to hearing if the suspension fix gets rid of the clunking noise. I think the shandle should lock into position. I think they should have better pads. I think Begode should have a better warranty. I hope this wheel drives down the price on the Extreme 😁 Best wishes

Begode upgraded their warranty about a year or so ago 🙂 They changed it from a 1 year warranty to a 2 year warranty (18 months on the battery), so it's the same warranty period as Leaperkim and Nosfet now.

Begode isn't offering a free rim swap to tubeless, they are just offering some suspension parts to make it quieter, and some reinforced handle pieces. 🙂

Really enjoyed your review, one question I still have is how easy is it to open up the wheel and change the tire. That matters alot to me since lots of previous Begode wheels were annoying to disassemble and the screws stripped easily making it impossible to put back together.

8:00 tire change video incoming? I'm thinking of returning the city grip 2 I've had laying around for a couple weeks since, I think it's tubeless? (new rider:how do I confirm this?) and don't want to risk it especially since the Shinko still does well in street conditions from all the content I've seen on it.

You can definitely safely use a tubeless tire with a tube in it, but you CANNOT use a tubeless tire with a tube-type rim. That's due to the way the tube seats on the rim, and there's a little lip/bead for the tire to grab onto on the rim, which locks it into place. I hope that makes sense. 🙂

I'm Leary towards switching full tubeless still prefer running tubes off road. I like the ability to run lower psi in a lot of conditions for better tire surface. I think they both come with their own risk. Sure you can sheer a valve stem but can also unseat a tubeless and have an instant flat from a rough bump or ect. For now I'm sticking with tubes.

Yeah I didn't do a hardcore range test on this, primarily because it's designed to be a trail wheel, which means you can get a solid 50+ miles on it doing trail riding. But if you are pushing it like crazy on the street, 25-30 miles is a reasonable expectation.

There are alternatives like s22 and Inmotion v14 have mpore rounded knobby tires, they are much better for off road I find. The bloody kenda have this edgy thing making it hard to control. Regarding lying: The EUC producers still lie about range big time. On a more positive happy note: Yes wheels are "getting better all the time (they couldnt get much worse) " The last sentence is from a song. Lets sing the praise of better EUCs and nicer tires ...

@@FinnBjerke Shinko tires are a little bit wider than the Kenda with their tread pattern, and they are also fantastic for riding on the street because they are less tippy and more gyroscopically stable than the mediocre Kenda 🙂

@@WheelGoodTime Interesting - Im a huge fan of the v14 and the s22 tires for off road the classic Kenda on my lynx and Sherman S not so happy - funfact my trusty old V11 have a snow tire on it from my time in Norway... So i Use that one when it snows here in Denmark (not very often) Still to me the 16" is adding extra fun to offroading since its more lively and agile I find. thx for great info as alwyas mate. appreciated.

Love the beatles reference. Shinkos are just such an amazing all around tire with exceptional performance on dirt and super predictable steering. I will forever ride shinko tires after trying a street tire for 3k miles im going back to the knobby life
