Great video. I just want to add that another vulnerable patient population that has been tested in the past are pregnant patients!

Hello! Around 40:00 you mentioned that in cases of Near Miss events, you dont have to inform the patient, just the hospital. However, I am quite certain I saw either an NBME or Free120 question with a near miss in which the correct answer was to inform the patient. The explanation did say that even in cases of near misses, you have a duty to inform the patient. Are you sure you dont have to inform patients?

Hello, I have a question. Lets say we are in middle of performing c-section and the patient says she wants to have a bilateral tubal ligation at that time. Can we perform it during the c-section?

some confusion please clarify so if a patient informs the psychiatrist that they are going to kill someone then shouldn't the psychiatrist just inform the person and not the local law authorities since an actual crime hasn't been committed yet?
