What about the Oral Approach / The Situational Method ? Ps: your explanations are sooooo clear. You make theory really interesting:)

I haven't heard much about the Situational Method/Oral Approach, but from what I read (here for instance: www.myenglishpages.com/blog/situational-language-teaching-oral-approach/ ), it was another behaviorist method. A sort of British equivalent to the Audiolingual Method (mostly US). Principles seem relatively similar (oral first, repetition, habit formation, sentence patterns...).

Exactly. Behaviorism is the general theory of learning (not only languages). Audiolingualism is the (main) method that applies the principles of behaviorism to language teaching.
