Wayne's voice just fills me with joy, there's so much voice to it. Chris very much channels the older version leaning more into falsetto, which is purposeful I'm sure, when reviewing impressions he separates them between mickey mouse clubhouse and shorts. So he obviously does the voice on purpose. It's just not my cup of tea

Freberg claimed that when Mel Blanc got into a severe car accident and went into a coma, Warner Brothers wanted him to take over the role of Bugs Bunny. Freberg refused out of respect for Blanc, and Blanc was vehemently grateful. But to think: Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny could've shared a voice, even if it was just a record for the former character.

Might as well make my first comment of 2023 a nice challenge! This was pretty difficult since they all have a unique voice, adding to Mickey's character. I'm sure my opinion will change from time to time. But this is how I'm ordering them now: 1. Wayne Allwine 2. Quinton Flynn 3. Bret Iwan 4. Walt Disney 5. Peter Renaday 6. Chris Diamantopoulos 7. Alan Young (Like how he can sound like Mickey with an accent) 8. Clarence Nash 9. James MacDonald 10. Jack Wagner 11. Les Perkins 12. Carl Stalling 13. Stan Freberg (Hard to explain why I'm rating him least favorite. I guess I feel like he's focusing too much on the Mickey impersonation and projecting that without adding much emotion.
