I would support a limited number of stackable clues. I like the idea of having them locked behind collection log tier, which they're introducing soon, rather than combat achievements. It feels more thematically appropriate than combat achievements. Either way though I think starting with a limited amount is a step in the right direction

Solo Mission juggled like 50 or so from rogue's chests in one of his last vids and did them all in a row after he hit 99 thieving. Hot take on clues.. they should have a stackable feature but only limited. Clues always existed as a “break” from what you were doing. It was never intended to be seen as an item you “stack” and do when it’s “convenient” it was always meant to be a tedious thing that was meant for you to take as a break from either skilling or PVM. Clue scroll stacking can mimic (pun intended) experience of that clue tier. For every X number of clues of that tier, you can stack X many. Base of 1, after 1 clue you can stack 2, after 5 you can stack 3, etc. Milestones of clues that make the grind better if you're dedicated seems like a reasonable way to go about it.

As someone that does a lot of slayer, I think a stack of 5 clues is enough. If people want to juggle more than that on the ground I don’t really care, but juggling like the 3 or 4 I get in a task sometimes is an annoyingly minor inconvenience, especially at location far from a bank/tele.

I've been saying something similar, I was don't want it to break the game for everyone but I feel like people who are further can be rewarded a little more. Example of what I had in mind for diary and/or combat achievement completions: Complete all easy, get +1 stackable beginner/easy clues. Get mediums done and you get +2 to both easy/beginner and +1 to medium. Completion of elites will give something like - 1 Master, 2 Elites, 3 Hards, 4 Mediums and 5 Easy/Beginners. If stackable for both combat achievements and diaries then have those numbers doubled -1 per tier.

best way to unlock clue stacking would be a gold sink and requirements to unlock : to stack clues you need to complete 300 of each tier : example : to stack easy's need to complete 300 easy's PLUS pay a fee(for gold sink) to be able to stack lets say 10 clues =1mil fee (10mil for masters) , 20 clues 2mil (20 mil for masters) fee and so on for each tier it gets more expensive permanent unlock for a maximum of 50 stackable clues of each tier . this way not everyone can stack clues off from the start and you need to grind and pay in order to unlock stackable clues.

Speaking of back on top, since the de-evolution of combat, my best weapon to use on blue dragons (using them as an example cause slayer) isn't the fang or acb with rune bolts or even the staff of the dead using water surge but of all things the blowpipe with amethyst darts... Which they have the highest defense against. Looked that up after trying to figure out my best set up for the thermonuclear smoke devil and surprise surprise even with its +800 defense against magic the trident of the swamp has higher dps and faster average time to kill than the fang which it has +11 defense against.... Brb I have to go get the blood drained from my eye.
