I know this is just a CG trailer, but I'm really hoping the game captures the tone and gameplay that's shown or implied here. It looks like Skyrim + Dark Souls + Shadow of the Colossus, which is an insanely cool mix, but also a really tough promise to live up to. Skydance are very talented developers, so I'm optimistic they can pull it off.

This is one of the titles on PSVR 2 that I'm looking forward the most. With TWD, Skydance demonstrated that they know what makes VR grounded and immersive, and all those features in this kind of setting are a dream came true. I hope it has a open world day and night cycle, survival, loot, crafting. And also hope that they will add the possibility to co-op in the game world with one or two friends. That would be wonderflul.

@@toby8264 I feel like there is no way to explain just how much people are ignoring the potential of VR. Give or take 20 - 40 years from now and we are likely to have tech that allows us to FEEL in VR without the need for any haptics and when stuff like that becomes publicly accessible, people will give literally anything since this kind of tech can equate to a second life within a game. In other words, Complete escape from reality into virtual reality. I see this potentially fantastic game from a successful developer as a stepping stone towards that future.

Yeah got a bit scared that this would be a quest exclusive (still would of been mighty interested in it) but this makes me really happy. Still a bit cautious because this looks mainly pre rendered and no gameplay it seems, but the concepts that this reveals already caught my interest.

The game was only announced like a month ago, they probably don't have a full product to show yet. Only massive AAA companies have the resources to sit on a full product a year or two before launching it.

I would then suggest they hold off on a trailer until they can put something together. Showing off pre-rendered CGI that will look much better than the final product doesn't do the final game any favors. UbiSoft has some history with that. Also the time they put into making this could be better used on improving assets for the game. I just know that as a gamer of 40+ years, these CGI cinematic trailers never do anything for me personally.

I knew I wasn't crazy! The resemblance is there, although I noticed it doesn't have a trunk like monsterverse behemoth. But the big gorilla like arms, the fact that the game is called behemoth? Seems too on the nose
