Behemoth - God=Dog [Reaction/Review]

The title of the song is a reference to liber al vel legis (The book of the law ) which is an occult book. Is a God to live in a dog? No, but the highest are of us. Most people don't get it and think the song title is stupid, but it's quite clever. The visuals have a bunch of reversed biblical events such as the archangel stabbing a woman (when in is meant to be the archangel stabbing the devil).

I feel sorry for people who can't understand the meaning behind all this. Behemoth's art is complex and not meant for everyone. Once you start to understand all the things from there Nergal draws his inspiration, their music reaches a new level. Alas, Behemoth is far beyond almost every band out there when it comes to put real meaning into their music, and they do it in such a clever way. I fucking love every record they released so far, and this one is gonna be another masterpiece and the perfect sucessor for "The Satanist"

Behemoth is one of my favorite bands and I will see them next week at the Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbühl, Germany and they are one of the headliners. I never saw them live and I will see them at their tour with At The Gates too. This will be so epic. 😍

Wonderful how the song start. In a different tone setting. It almost feels like the side project of Nergal had some influence on it. But after the intro it is all hell break loose again. And as P mention the icing on the cake was and is the Children Choir
