I've been getting into Behemoth recently and this video showed me a lot I didn't know. Definitely gonna need to start doing that diamond lance throw/dive tech for the quick shatter

That's awesome, glad you learned something! The window on the dive is super forgiving, so you can either hit it super early post-throw or super late.

As a big behemoth player, I was going to click off the video as I was watching. But then you hit me with terraria calamity music…and I realized there must be more. Fantastic clips glad I stayed. Question with cryoclasm slide, don’t you think dunes are a little redundant? Wouldn’t armamentarium be better for 2 coldsnaps? Or even HOIL for more uptime with the melee. I also noticed I’m gonna ASSUME you know of the cryoslide jump boost right?

Glad you liked it! I usually use dunes to try and make up for some of the lost mobility when swapping off pks, I still think they're great in 3s for the chain damage if I have to melee post-freeze. I've messed around with HOIL in 6s and I find it hard to maximise the uptime with such an aggressive playstyle. For Armamentarium, I usually throw coldsnap pretty quickly after I get it - so I don't really need the extra charge. I usually cryoskate as well, I just think the clips missed it.

The only thing that looks busted to me in that montage is coldsnaps. Cryo buff and shiver mele is not a problem when you got hunters and warlocks with similar cooldowns for the mobility movements like icarus dash. Diamond lances ya perhaps they shouldn't buff that for pvp though.

I would say that coldsnaps are powerful, but only when they work. Their tracking without Osmeomancy is terrible and the freeze is pretty short, so you have to put a lot of faith into it actually landing a freeze in order to make a play. Matching the Cryo cooldown to Icarus makes a lot of sense, it'll just be something new to adapt to. Shiver Strike needed the buffs, I know a lot of people who hate playing Behemoth because of how inconsistent it is.

If anyone wants to really get the max out of behemoth Titan on PVP I would recommend Cryo, Horror story, the slammer and the prophet as these can actually make multiple diamond lances with kills. I have killed others in PVP to have 3 spawn of that one kill. It’s just crazy to me that this only has a 0.8% usage rate in PVP. I love the kit as it is so unique for its aggressive play style it easily adopts.

Since you main behemoth and it got a buff that you deem to be too much; how you feeling about bubble nerf? Is it just to get more ppl to buy TFS for new supers or is it targeted to make titans play more ape style offense than defense style with bubble?

Bubble changes are strange, it 100% is trying to enforce a more aggressive playstyle. I still think overshield will be super oppressive in 3s, but I don't think countering a bubble will change much. I think the strategy still will be to just walk in with a conditional finality and that'll be more consistent and easy, but it allows the bubble player to more safely leave to counter that. Weapons being moved exclusively to HoS-14 means that most bubble players won't have a HUGE advantage if they leave the bubble.

100%, everyone's too busy with Strand to realise that Behemoth is insanely strong in PvE - and it'll only get better with the changes.

How exactly are they nerfing stasis? The only thing I can think of that's not gonna be as strong is the Chains rework - and that barely affects most PvP stasis playstyles.
