One of my favourite episodes. I didn’t know what to expect based on the title but it certainly wasn’t an episode full of miracles! I’ve been listening to Ram Dass while I sleep or wake up at night. Consciously or subconsciously I hear it. But for this one I stayed awake ✨

Thank YOU! Egad - 20 minute intros for Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, and now Ram Dass? Didn’t the Buddha have important things to say about “unnecessary speech”? Irony at its finest! 😂

@@keithgarbarino8247 depends on the day and how I’m feeling. Sometimes I like revisiting talks with new perspectives. Ragu was the whole reason I decided to start listening to this podcast series before I even knew what it was about. He has the same voice as my great grandfather and I haven’t been able to see him for a long time. He lives in San Fran in a home after a couple of strokes. His wife Lilly takes care of him. My great grandfather and great grandmother both grew up and met in India. My grandmothers parents were German missionaries teaching locally but also doing odds n ends like cataracts surgery or pulling rotten teeth for locals. So in a way, yeah I dig it because I just pretend it’s my family talking to me about their days in India. And if I follow Ram Dass’ teachings like he said “well to me everyone is family and that’s why I made the book so cheap” so Ragu is family so I listen. Sorry so long winded but there are also days where I’m like Raguuuuuuuuuuu bro. Ragu. Gimme my guru please.

The whole game is telling a story and getting someone else to 👁️ believe it. 🤔. A lifetime having a freedom from stories frees US all to live in the Present with no need of Past or Future Th'anxieties. 😊🎯

What about a story that writes itself then throws itself away?

Went to my dads the other day, stood in the kitchen immediately after arriving and saw outside a titmouse INSIDE of a bird feeder. I’ve tried to imagine how that bird got in there but can’t come to any rational answer. I can accept that it was Maharajji 😂

My thought is, if a person does intervene in some way, is that not an aspect of karma as well?

It's their faith that healed them; Maharishi was only a conduit (can-do-it) but the old buSINess man didn't keep his word more than going👣back🔙 to work😮. Better 2 have a Glad Guru instead of a Sad😢Guru🧘!
