perhaps you know: but if you'd like to know a fun fact: That image in a lot of horror games is named "Saturn Devouring his Son" made by Francisco Goya and it is apart of the "Black paintings" he had hanging up in his house when he passed away. He lived during the Spanish Inquisition and people believe it was a reflection of his trauma. He added to these paintings over time. the second image you mention about the 'corpse falling from the attic" while I believe who took the picture is unknown. its largely believed that the blur you see was ink transfer from another photo during development. but its considered unconfirmed what exactly happened to the photo. also loving the scenes between games. Awesome detail!! Edit: the last game reminds me of the Watson-Scott test. If he hasn't played and liked that one. Watson-Scott is similar!

I think my favorite game dev is Capcom (DmC is one of my favorite saga and the recent game like Street Fighter 6 are very Cool), NetherRealm (They are the best dev for fighting games) or Sega (I've Grown up with Sonic and I love the Yakuza's series. Also some games like Vanquish or Bayonetta are really valid)

I've grown up on Capcom games, so they have a special place in my heart. But I would also mention Trese Brothers Games. It's a micro indie games studio, they mostly make rpg sandbox games. And these games are really special. Also dudes by themselves are very chill and keep a small discord community

To answer the question you asked in the beginning of the video my favorite game creator is Toby Fox. The reason is because his game Undertale inspired me to be the person I am today. When I found the game I was going through a hard time, I didn't have any friends and I was having a hard time in school. It made me so happy to see so many different characters willing to befriend each other even though they were all so different. I also saw myself in many of the characters.

15:05 fun fact, that "mannequin" is actually a very famous prop that game developers (mainly indies) use to train game mechanics or animations in a humanoid characters. The guy who made that game was most likely expecting for people to run away and not notice that it's not a monster with horns but just a robot looking thing with horns attached to it. Never thought I'd see one of those in an actual game lol

My absolute favorite group of people who make/develop games is for sure The Echo Project group they created a number of visual novels such as Echo, Adastra, Arches, The Smoke Room, and more I absolutely adore every game they have put out because they are always beautifully written and better than any other visual novel I’ve ever seen

I think my favourite game developer has to be Konami. Silent Hill 2 is, in my opinion, one of if not the best horror games of all time, and it's my favourite game ever. The first three Silent Hill games are absolutely amazing, and they combine psychological and body horror in such a wonderful way that I doubt they'll ever be beaten.
