The Boston Bruins follow up the Winter Classic win with a West Coast road trip that starts off in Los Angeles. Back home, the Bruins clash with rival Toronto Maple Leafs, followed by David Krejci playing in his 1,000th career NHL game against the Philadelphia Flyers on January 16, 2023.

Remember - Sweeney's behind this transition. He turned the team over to the players. It became about them, not "the system" Without Sweeney infuriating Fairweather bruins fans, eating Cassidy's contract? There'd be NO Monty And if Cassidy had left pasta failing on the top line all-season? After his child died? There would be no Pasta. Everyone wanted Jake traded when he called out the coaching hypocrisy-every player has to compete for their position every day Sweeney stood by the right party & was on it. It's odd how Sweeney got nailed for following the advice of an older black judge and the only black NHL sports agent by giving Mitch Miller a chance-but then it's okay to hire a known alcoholic, who did things when he was an adult, under NHL contract -it's okay to gamble on him? I'd say "Poor Don" -but I think Jacobs gave him a generous contract last spring. Still stinks being the team's pinata

Bruins may not be that good down the stretch, teams are figuring them out. 2 x on marchand or Pasternak as they bring it up the zone. 2nd, latest game toronto 2-1, wow do you see how long they are in the bruins zone, just keep going back to the d and cycle bruins just seems so tentative to get the puck out. 3rd the powerplay seem very non chalant almost too fancy. i hope they can see as we enter the stretch.
