cocaine is a parasite its an awful addiction it takes years to finally get to that point of actually quitting. when i finally quit i found that was the easy part of the journey what i wasn't ready for was reality kicking in, every few months the addiction would ease but reality came in hard. I've been clean for roughly 5 years now and have no interest in any of it. but being clean and sober really is a superpower

That's so great to hear and you should be proud of yourself. My husband is in the thick of it and as you say its a parasite.its wrecking our marriage and our lives and our bank balance .nothing I can do until hopefully one day he will try and give up.he has before but only for like a month tops .when he's sober it all hits home and regrets etc but then it's back on the rollercoaster I just wish he could see himself like it because he would hate himself. I cry most days as at somepoint he says something horrible to me .but I keep telling myself he has a mental illness that's the only way I can cope.

We have managed to discuss it and he recognises the damage its doing to our lives mentally and financially, he's just not ready to start his road to sobriety just yet.

Is dapper laughs back on the gear? He hasn’t posted in time

Dapper is doing his comedy tour and then plans to do some more podcasts. People don't realise how much time doing a podcast takes up. Have a word with yourself though, why even think that. Spend more time boosting people up and you’ll feel better

When did coke become normal, I see loads of people in there 20s 30s doing sniff. I’m over 50 now, I did pills back in the day, never interested in sniff. I think it’s a horrible drug.
