Much respect for the comment about taking the best parts of a produced drum track and transferring them to the live kit. That's something I always tried to do when learning to play and I know made me a better drummer. Neil Teago, I agree as well with the dominant snare hand statement, that was a great point. Very well done video!

I've always played those 16th note grooves with my right hand doing the double stroke from the hat to snare to hat, but I'm really liking using the left instead like you suggested I think the fact that using the right on the snare forces you to use your left (usually off hand) as a lead hand is also a really important factor to the sound also that might be my favorite auxiliary snare of all time

if you strive for even sound quality in both hands then it shouldnt really matter which way you choose to stick the groove. great videos tho. Not saying most drummers wouldnt sound different not hitting the snare with their dominant hand.
