Really glad to hear that streams are helping you out a bit. Tidal kicked back my 2020 most listened playlist and your goofy face popped up as the playlist art! You at #1 for 2020, and Hiatus Kaiyote at #2. Also just grabbed the yellow Bubble Bath vinyl and it came yesterday, but im in covid isolation for another week, so Quar and Peace will be holding me over until i can run those grooves. Any plan to put Quar out on vinyl?

It dawned on me watching this that most of my favorite beats I do are from music I sampled that I don’t like or would listen to. Peace to blockhead always messed with his beats heavy. 🫡

On the subject of "sticking to your lane" Carnage the Executioner is a good example of diligently bolstering multiple skill sets (ie his rapping and beatboxing) and achieving success in each area All in all, to each his own Ps Not to mention Aes' production skills

I think you misunderstood what I was saying there. I wasn't saying that everyone should just do one thing. Obviously there are countless artists who are multifaceted. I was specifically talking about artist starting out (opening acts and such) who try and do too much too soon. Instead of getting REALLY good at one thing , they spread themselves thin and are mediocre at many things. Obviously , any new artist can grow and become great at all those things.

Ok, that makes a little more sense to me. So you were saying something along the lines of "pace yourself" or "baby steps" rather than saying not to try new things entirely

@@ian-blum exactly. Learn the basics before you try to create a masterpiece.
