This is far more the kind of application i would hope to see for AI. Not just generating creatively bankrupt images.

It's so sad to see how uncultured and almost trained to become aggressive are some people in the comments. They immediately go crazy when they see "AI". It feels like after seeing the 2 magical letters they just paused the video and never listened to it. Since when did a literal tool for saving time become the actual worker? I'm aware of the fears a lot of people have about AI, there already have been a lot of times when this kind of technology has been used to hurt people (both intentionally and unintentionally. Take AI art as an example. It can be used to generate one more of billions of anime girls with the same kind of render and probably 6 fingers. It can also be used as a tool to develop an artist's visual library, help find that one sand grain sized piece that was missing from the piece for it to be complete and perfect. Color combinations, shapes, it can all be completely werorked to the point where you won't be able to see where AI was used in the final result. Cause the actual result was made by the artist, while AI was used as a tool. Basically as far as I understood the AI model that's discussed in this video was used to add variety, help escape repetitiveness and fit the tiny little samples into the melody. It would've taken a lot more time to do it by hand. Judging Kensuke Ushio for using AI here is almost the same as judging him for using synth sounds and tools instead of running around and finding the right musicians or even playing everything by himself Mindless AI use leads to quite a lot of issues (media used without creator's consent, AI-made media being fed to people who don't see the difference, people pretending to be other people for their own benefit, etc). However if used properly it is a tool and nothing else. A lot of people right now lack education on at least the basics of how technology works Yeah, this is a rant comment, I know. Just felt not right to see mindless "no wonder the ost was bad" comments

Guys are you ever going to release a public tool? It’s depressing you saying you’re not releasing any of this because of training data. You’ve made some amazing tools I’ve never seen from others, even better than DeepMind’s Lyria
La ia puede ser usada cómo una herramienta, más no reemplazar el trabajo de un humano, si es posible coexistir con ella
