That's true. In several interviews Yuki has said that, whilst he gets along with everyone, he mostly talks about games and stuff with Max and Pierre, but Checo has really been helpful in counseling him on different aspects of being an F1 driver.

@@inflatable2 I think we can be sure there will be heated debates between camp Lewis and camp Max about the what if situations of the season. What if Max his tire didn't blow, what if Lewis didn't take Max out in Silverstone, what if they both went off in Silverstone, what if they didn't collide in Monza. How would it all play out if there was an absolutely fair season without any drama? I think that's somethat that will be milked all winter long, and to be honest I am not looking forward to that. You have to look ahead and what's done is done, you simply can't change the past. It is what it is. New season, new chances for everyone and may the best man win with their good and bad luck included.

@@LogiForce86 That's not much of a debate.. If you cancel out all luck-moments this season Max would have virtually won the WDC already because he would be leading by over 50 points.. All performance stats are hugely in his favor this season, most pole positions, most wins, most laps led etc, which is a clear sign he performed the best by far.. It's just the amount of bad luck Max had in especially Baku, Silverstone and Budapest that still keeps Lewis in the race right now.. Take Imola with that as well where Lewis got a lap back and P2 basically gifted by a red flag situation after he got himself lapped and outside the points by going off into the gravel.. Only 2 races Max got more lucky than Lewis where Sochi and Monza, but those were not even close to a swing in points compared to the ones where Lewis had more luck than Max..

I was at turn 11 with my dad. I had so much orange on, and when Max and Checo did well in quali I screamed my head off. But when Max won Sunday andCheco got 3rd, I SCREAMED my head off. So proud and so much respect for our boys after they both had very difficult and challenging races. Austin really fueled my passion for the sport more than it already was. Can't wait for the remaining races . Now let's win those championships!!!🏆🏆

It is so great to see a team in so much harmony. Checo is in a great place as he looks satisfied and honored being on the team, handling the pressure and not being jaded as a clear #2 driver. No other team on the grid has this perfect understanding and such a single-minded goal, which is to beat Mercedes. I think Aston Martin also has this chemistry now with Seb on the team and the commitment of the owner. But I think they lack a clear goal about where they want and can be in the championship. By contrast, Mercedes and Ferrari are both pretty toxic in terms of team chemistry. McLaren had been toxic too until this last couple of years when the car is finally competitive again.
