World Cup trophy is better then Nations league and Gold cup trophies. USA came on top both Nations League and Gold Cup in 2021 but wasn't enough for them to beat Netherlands to advance further still have a long way to go to become an elite team. If you can beat Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France then I would say you have chance but since you guys are facing easy teams you have no competition.

I think it is since 1990 not 2000. I have been a fan of USA national team since USA lost to Italy 1-0 in the world cup 1990. You are right since 2000. Before 1990, USA had 5-27-9 (W-L-D) record vs Mexico. USAs 1930's decade was USAs golden generation, they were the best Concacaf team in that region.

He was pushed out of the elite, from Barcelona, to Ac Milan then PLUMMETS down to little Union Berlin and their one good season, that is a huge slap in the face...he never got a chance and was always dismissed as bad. I truly believe his career with the elite is finished and nothing he does will change anybody's mind. New players will surface and Dest will be forgotten about. Unfortunately. That is the fate of the American player😢

@@KenDaKingArrives Union Berlin is in the champions league and if he holds to good form with no injuries he should be fine. Going to Union Berlin is not a plummet. Def a step down but not like going to a championship club. Still a top five league and champions league football. If he plays to the ability we know him for, his stock will rise and he will again be on the radar of big clubs. Maybe not in the first full season but with 2 full seasons of playing to his standards of being an elite attacking rb with solid defense and any big club would want to sign him.
