funny how marc got such a bad rep just for fighting against the doctor and dethroning him. the way he dealth with this injury from the first moment made everyone respect him so much and its well deserved. he lives for motogp and everyone loves to see that

I got to meet Marc in Austin after the race at COTA this year. He was so kind to me, a seemingly crazy woman running up to him outside of a restaurant downtown, yelling his name at him. His smile and laughter in this video is contagious. He has always been my favorite rider, and I will always be a huge huge fan.

He will get back on the top, Marc is the most talented rider ever. He got the whole package, smart like rossi pushing like stoner. This man is a legend!!! and then there is also the person Marc and if you see the love that he has for is brother is phenomenal. Cant wait to see him back on a bike, but am so happy they take the healing of the body serieus so he can drive without the pain and focus everything on the bike and track again.

As fans, there are mixed feelings of sadness, joy, pride and worry. And when he was asked what his dream is now, he said he wanted to race without pain for some reason it made my heartbreaking. I'm not a Marquez fan, but I've been watching Moto GP for a long time, and he's the best rider I've ever seen and it's not close. Iron sharpens iron, and I feel like we can't get the best out of the other riders unless Marquez is out there pushing them like only he can. I thoroughly expect him to come back and immediately contend next year. 👍

This is gonna be a long one but bear with me! I have never watched MotoGP except for when I was a kid and didn’t have a choice but to sit through whatever my dad was watching lol. July 2020, MotoGP was on tv while we were having dinner. I happen to glance at the tv at the exact moment MM93 crashed. I knew nothing about him at that point. Didn’t know he was an 8-time World Champion, etc. But I decided to follow him on social media just to see him recover from that nasty crash. Every so often I would scroll through my feed and see one of his posts and in my head I’d be like “hey look he’s getting better!”. I still was not watching MotoGP when he won in Sachsenring June 2021. I saw it on my feed thinking “he’s back!”. That’s when I started to be curious. Thought maybe I’d watch highlights of that race. I ended up watching a 15min clip about his comeback which almost made me tear up a bit haha 🥲 It took me 15 minutes to become a fan of Marc. After the comeback clip I went on to watch dozens of his interviews, race highlights, etc. I started watching every MotoGP weekend a year after I followed him on socials. At the back of my head I thought, “sucks I wasn’t a fan yet when he was still winning” but I realized it’s better seeing him push his way back to the top. I can’t wait to see him win another championship. It will be his 9th but it will be the first one I’ll witness. Pretty sure I’ll cry when that happens 🥲 You’re such an inspiration, Marc! Glad I discovered you when I did. Speedy recovery! 💯

Marc Marquez is the most determined, ferocious and talented sportsman I have ever seen. I've been watching Motorsport for over 30 years. The only person I've seen in this field that was close was Ayrton Senna, but sacrilegious as I feel saying this - because he's my absolute hero - even he wasn't as ruthless as Marc. And that is meant as a complement. The laps leading up to the crash that started all this were the *greatest* set of laps I've ever seen from an individual. He was making every other rider look like an amateur. This long drawn out comeback is just another example of Marc's competitiveness, hunger and ferocity. He has no reason to be doing this. Any true non partisan fan of the sport already recognises him as the greatest motorcycle racer of all. Casey Stoner - another gem of a person - was probably as fast, maybe faster, Valentino Rossi - almost as ruthless, Mick Doohan - equally determined, but none - none - have the combination of all these attributes he does. I genuinely wish him all the best. He has nothing to prove to any of us. All I hope for him is that his body allows him to satisfy his hunger for racing again. He's an absolute legend.

This is what I love about Marquez, to him the Repsol Honda isn’t some replaceable machine, it isn’t just speed. you’ve got to be able to tame the beast, to be able to control it or risk trying, his passion goes beyond just a fast bike, there are crash there and then but I ju say hope he comes back stronger through all those injuries. It’s not just a number it’s my bike.

I was never a fan of Marc. But the respect I have gained for this man after all he has put himself through and all that he has come back from has dramatically changed my views. The utter tenecity and fortitude Marc has shown along with the wil to be on top and win is incredible. If he wins another championship then this will put him among the great come backs such as Doohan and Hailwood. But also make him very much moving towards GOAT territory and yes I am a Rossi fan and always have been also.
