Thanks Chrizzly for another great vlog. Those 2 big road cabinets look like a much nicer way to keep everything organized and together versus the setup used in the US.

How very clever. Radios that translate to the language of the country you are in. Amazing what technology can do these days. Brilliant vlog again.
@chrizzlycaveКүн бұрын
Nah that was just a joke of course the radio does not translate :D It is just different frequency on each country we went to.

you clearly love music, what is your favorite style to play when you are drumming at home?
@chrizzlycaveКүн бұрын
Well i do not have a specific genre i just play along to songs i like could be everything from metal to j-pop to reggae etc.

So I noticed on the American kit David has Snare weights and then on the EU kit, you guys have the gel stickers. Which ones do you and David like better? Or is it just that we have these here and there and try to match the sound?
@chrizzlycaveКүн бұрын
Yes i use Snareweights on all drums which do not have S-Hoops on it. Well David loves to play drums but has not so much interests in technical aspects. For me it is the opposite i like drumming of course but i have more interest in technical aspect and tuning etc. then playing by myself.
@Sanct1mon1aКүн бұрын
@@chrizzlycave gotcha that makes sense. He comes to play while you make sure they are sounding the correct way and tuned the right way. I am sound nerd if you will and find it interesting how drummers and techs do there different method to lessen the sustain of the drum.

Where are you guys at now?
@chrizzlycaveКүн бұрын
Actually the guys are writing on their upcoming album. I am on tour with The Butchers Sisters, Samurai Pizza Cats and Caliban till i meet again with EC for EU summer festivals.

@chrizzlycave3 сағат бұрын

Great vlog! 😊 Maybe a stupid question here, but is there a reason for the snare to be another color than the rest?
@Exile1aКүн бұрын
I'm just a lay-man on drums, but the most obvious thing I can think of is that the drumhead is just a completely different material. The other drums resonate more while the snare is more a short snap. Though if you look up Snare drums you see a lot of them marked as 'Coated' so perhaps same material but a coating to get that particular sound perhaps.
@alex0589Күн бұрын
Drums are usually made as matching sets but snares are seen as interchangeable, up to the drummer’s taste. Sometimes a matching snare is sold with the kit but most pros have several snares and choose whichever feels best for their style, they are usually made of wood or metals like brass or steel whereas the rest is usually wood. Like changing the tires and wheels on a car, it changes the look and feel but doesnt always match the rest of the original car. As for the drum heads, the snare head is usually coated, a bit like white sandpaper, toms and bass drums are either coated or clear(transparent) depending on feel and musical style.
