Great work indeed. The music has the right suspense and tension built in, and supports the video very well. And your YT videos are getting so much more professional now, I am impressed!

I bliebe a "Synthesis for orchestral composers" might be good. There are many synthesis tutorials, but most of them focus very much on EDM. What is your background, @micwarren21?

@ Guitar. Was a guitarist arranger and conductor for various artists. Helen Reddy, Donna Summer, Diana Ross with Sub on the Tonight Show band did movie dates and work clubs now I'm trying to learn orchestral arrangements. I did basic arrangements for all live shows for these artists. Just making music for myself now I'm 81.

@@SamuFL Right now I'm packing for my trip to LA to see my daughter and granddaughters. When I get back, it would be my pleasure to set up a call, I can pick your mind.

Awesome music, not sure it fit the trailer that well though.

With all the different levels of string patches, how do you keep the faders almost equal for all tracks? Do you use the gain control to boost track to get it level?
@SamuFL2 күн бұрын
Well, the levels are already pretty much where they need to be for a start. I have things mostly balanced in the orchestration project, even before exporting the audio. For the strings, e.g, I would balance the layers in the midi project and only export the already layered strings to audio for further mixing.

What micwarren21 said.... Can you teach us how to use Vital for Orchestral Stuff and not EDM please?
