My mom died suddenly in a car wreck and like shannan she loved her house. She lived in a cottage on a lake. Everyone that moved in after her passing would see her walk out her bedroom to the bathroom then come back out the bathroom and go back to her room. They ended up tearing it down because people were to scared to live there..im a believer that shannan does visit the home she loved.

This has been discussed amongst channels for a long time. I’m torn 50/50. I agree that it would help the community heal and pay a beautiful respect to Shannan and the kiddos. But on the other hand, it was her dream home. Built and customized to her specifications. So, it holds that meaning as well. 🤷🏼‍♀️

As a parent myself, I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable living in a house that is so famous. The thought of strangers having the address of where my children live and sleep would definitely keep me up at night. I can understand the miller’s wanting to get out of that house.

Absolutely. I do think Ms Miller saying she’s not trying to emulate SW might have been a wee bit disingenuous. Just my hunch and not meant to be too critical. She was exactly the same age as SW, wearing same kind of clothing, two girls and one boy in that order (though clearly we don’t preorder gender 😂) maybe that alone subconsciously attracted her to the home. And perhaps she had the best intentions-to right the history of the home and prove that things there aren’t spiritually murky. However, that’s not what’s happened…she basically recreated SW photos…husband with a beard…just makes me a little uneasy. Then Mr Miller is recently charged with DV and removed from the home?! That happens after the Ms made a very public & viral post saying to those who thought they were doomed to repeat history should “seek therapy”-she repeated “seek therapy” to anyone with any interest in the home at all. Yet…she herself clearly had a vested interest in a home that was otherwise doomed to sit on the market…I fully agree with you that I’d be put off.

I have a feeling that the Millers (either one, or both) sought out that house knowing it’s history, and when the realtor mentioned in their post “ it was a long hard battle to get here” makes me wonder if the Millers were scrambling to come up with the finances and approvals required to close on the house because they desperately wanted it. Again, I could NEVER subject my children to that sort of attention and potential harm. You never know who’s driving by…

I remember seeing the Lutzes on either Merv Griffon or Michael Douglas, and I thought it odd they really did not want to talk about the house or their experiences. They left everything in there, fled with the clothes on their backs to CA, and whatever it was followed them. Even if you discount their experience, there is not way to explain the Defeo murders and how no one in the house heard the shots.. he didn't use a silencer, and there were no drugs found in any of the family members' blood.

I believe that a house can be haunted. But not all hauntings are evil. I think the only reason there may be anything bad in the Watts former house was because of what NK did in the basement. I have lived in a haunted house, and in the basement room, you could feel someone walking behind you when you would walk up or down those steps. And you could see shadows of someone walking up and down the steps outside the window, but no one would be there when you looked out the window. It was very creepy.

It could be a complete dump and sell for shy of 1 million! Shananns house here would sell easy for 1.4 million. Today tiny condos sell for 600,000 PLUS fees and all the extras! These are 1 bedroom condos too! Don’t move here! 😡

I live in Ontario Canada as well.. A small house with what is considered a large lot for city property. My husband passed in the house in 2021 due to cancer. I’ve felt his presence more back then but not as much now as I did 2021/22 It was such a warm feeling. I found dimes or a dime almost every other week. There was a white feather on the deck the first day I was alone after the funeral and company quieted down. Never found a white feather before. Cardinal nests were in my back yard for the first time. My husband knew I loved cardinals bc when I did see one I’d tell him they were visitors from heaven, He’d smile and agree. On the second week I thought I’d go thru some old shoe boxes my husband kept private papers stashed away. The boxes were gathering up for 35 yrs after the file cabinet was full of most recent paper work. Accidentally I dropped the one box on the floor. Had long forgotten on one of our most fun winter vacation trips yrs past, some photos were put away in a box. I sat on the floor bc two rolls of the developed pics were scattered in front of me. Those pic’s were / are so special . I looked at them for hours. Couldn’t believe pics we couldn’t find felt like they were given to me from above. The dimes gathered up where I counted 24 almost a year later. Always heard dimes were meaningful sent from above, a loved one is thinking about you. Those kind of things helped me make it thru a tough year more than anyone could ever know. Last I forgot , I always sit in my same spot in the living room whereas my husband had his own chair. We were movie buffs in the winter mos. enjoying the fireplace and watching every good movie there was. After he was gone it felt like somebody sat down beside me in my same spot. Felt the cushion sinking down. Sometimes a soft touch on my arm or my knee shortly after. I wasn’t losing my mind I knew what I felt. I did tell a few good friends. They believed as had experienced different things. Had been thinking about selling off and on for awhile I don’t want to sell our house with so many memories Those experiences where I felt the above will stay with me forever as well as the memories in the past.No ghosts tho during those warm events. I do believe in the presence of past loved ones for sure more than ever now.

The father has NEVER been in trouble before prior to moving into this house. He was charged with a felony assault in front of his children and a few domestic misdemeanors. I’m not saying it’s haunted BUT like in the amityville story a dark force took over the “MAN” of the house and we know that story. The wife and children chose NOT to return to the house for a reason and why didn’t they because there was 4 of them with no where to go but instead they decided not to and let the husband stay there alone!! There’s something dark in that house. With NO DOUBT in my mind!!!!

I dont think there is a single piece of land that hasnt had someone die on it. Ive been in a brand new construction house getting it ready for the people that had it built and you could hear voices, supplies would get moved. Wasnt the house, it was the land. That said , I personally dont believe there is anything wrong with this house or the land except for its notoriety. Not that I could ever afford it but I could live there. Except for Shan Nan and her last night , that house was filled with love.

There was a murder suic*de in my small town, and a couple moved in there from states away. I genuinely cannot imagine living there. It happened in our senior year of high school (6 years ago now), so when we got older and were looking for a home.. it was one of the only places available. (The story is that an old woman got cancer, only to find out that her doctor took advantage of her decline and signed a bunch of papers, money and properties over to himself. Then he prescribed her medication that caused her death. So, the doctor went to the home only to be interrupted by the husband who unalived the doctor and then himself. I knew many people who had him as a doctor. I may have some details wrong but it’s scary to know I had family treated by this doctor at one point)

What the Millers have experienced is constant, unremitting attacks from comments like yours. No-one will give them a chance to make that house their home. I'm a Christian, and firmly believe that when we die, our souls go to Heaven, it is NOT Our Fathers will that after everything Shan'nan, Bella, Cece and Nico went through that He would allow them to be left behind to 'haunt' a house. Once we leave this world, we are not allowed to contact those we have left behind on Earth, anyone who creates a channel using spirit boxes, oujia boards etc are not hearing voices from the deceased, rather they are being impersonated by evil. The Lord will deal with Chris Watts, and any accomplices in His own good time, but He is protecting these poor souls under His mighty wings. We all have to face Him sooner or later, but there is alot of exploitation of this tragedy at work, which comes from the evil one. In Oct of 2013 I was putting on pj’s at around3:30 in the am. Hubby was on night shift. I looked up thought I saw something? Checked again and suddenly coming out of the office across the hall was a walking ghost heading next door to the bathroom. With no fear I got up and followed it into the bathroom. I asked” Who are you? What do you want? The lack of fear blew me away. It was a male , couldn’t see the face or hands/ feet as were shrouded in a heavy grey mist or appeared like. He wore a plaid shirt and jeans. The shirt was an odd older style , same with the blue jeans. He walked straight towards the bathtub and disappeared thru the wall. Standing there staring with a peaceful mind I thought nobody is going to believe this. I told my husband and family. Hubby believed me bc he had seen something when he was much younger but it was not as vivid as what I saw. Not in our home as I didn’t know him back then. My youngest daughter was terrified even tho she liked the ghost shows on tv weekly. She asked me when staying over “Please Mom tell that what you call a-gentle ghost to never visit me when I’m here. I told her I saw it once this was a couple of years later but have no say if it appeared again. I haven’t seen it since. Seriously if someone ever told me I’d see a ghost( peaceful) I would have moved out of here asap. My daughter passed of cancer in 2017 and my husband also passed after a long battle with cancer in 2021. Do not want to see it again even tho appeared gentle. I felt more at ease when my husband was alive. It would most likely push me to sell and move on although I love the privacy of my large trees and set up in my back yard. A large deck half enclosed so rain or snow I can still sit in my own privacy outside. Was it scary not at all. Just feel comfortable speaking about it due to the ghost stories that are not peaceful as is the topic here. I have crucifixes in many rooms especially my bedroom and office as well as holy pictures. My home was blessed by a priest in 2021 due to my husband passing away where he chose to be home in our bedroom rather than a hospice or hospital. That particular year was still all about COVID where visitors would have been very strict outside the home in hospitals. He did not want to die alone. We or I agreed with his last wishes. Long story short I saw a peaceful ghost years before and did not die of a heart attack. It frightened the few ppl I told who were regular visitors. Well now I do believe in ghosts. Thank God that ghost was peaceful. I’d like to know more about this stuff so I can understand that event. I honestly don’t know anything except for what I saw and my frame of mind not feeling afraid. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Love to know.

I commend the Miller's for buying the house. They did an absolutely beautiful job on both the inside and outside of the house. I'm sorry for the situation that has transpired and that they are having to move. I wish all the members of this family only the very best in whatever the future holds.

Whether it was domestic abuse or child abuse I'm betting on it being whatever evil thing that was summoned in that house is the cause of that abuse.😢 You know, I bet if the Millers turned that house into an Airbnb for weekend stays, they would probably make some money on that house. I’m from Huntington, Long Island (left there many years ago), but in the early 80’s my Mom took us to see the Amityville house. I didn’t know anything about the house, but as a young 8 year old, it didn’t feel right to me. We lived with a female ghost in our house, so things like that didn’t bother my Mom. Guess she was used to it. The only thing I remember about her was she was extremely protective over my brother and myself. She definitely let herself be known, but other than not allowing me to open the bi-fold laundry doors, she never messed with anything. My Mom use to tell her that her rent was due and the least she could do was wash the dishes 😆 🤷🏼‍♀️

Husbands pleaded guilty to harrassment and domestic abuse, against a child I believe!! they are getting divorced as far as I know! He got an 18mnth suspended sentence! Very strange ( maybe that house is cursed ( maybe NK put a curse on it?) so sad, there is substance abuse with the husband too!🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

I live near there. Houses in Colorado are insanely expensive, especially the closer you get to Denver and there is a major housing shortage. Anything that goes on the market sells immediately for well over asking price. That particular house is absolutely huge (over 6,000 square feet) with high end finishes. The fact that it sold under asking price at such a low price is practically unheard of around here. The next door neighbor also sold their home a couple years after the murders. I think there is just a bad vibe with the whole area now.

Ive lived in the same village in the uk for 40 years in the same house. The house is over 115 years old and only 2 families have lived here before me. Only rarely do houses come up for sale as people usually live here until natural death in old age and their descendents continue in those properties. My great great great great grandfather and family lived here in the next street (and is buried in the chirch here) a man murdered his wife in one of the cottages not long after i moved here. That cottage has changed hands 6 or more times . Most unusual for this village. Does make me wonder if there is still negative energy in that cottage that makes people not want to live there

I am so sick of hearing that this house is haunted by Shanaan, Bella, and Cece. He only unalived Shanann there. The girls were not unalived there, he did that in the field before he put them in the tanks. There is no way that they would be there. He stated he saw two people staring at him in his cell and upon looking harder he realized they were what he thought was his grandparents. Yet he had this feeling they were not really his grandparents. They wanted him to come to them but he did not move. He felt what he believes is god put his hand on his head and removed these negative spirits from him and he said he cried harder than he ever had in his life. He felt the pain in his heart of what he had done and completely broke down. I believe that these two girls everyone sees and hears are these two negative spirits. The sad thing about that narrative though is this means Shanann is trapped in her own home with the two negative spirits that wanted her gone to begin with. Thats just my opinion, what do you all think?

That house had 6,000 dollars just in liens, I believe and they owed a bunch to the HOA which is 70 dollars a month! They just need the right buyer and they are out there. If it were me I would want a family to live there to bring happy memories to it. It wasn't always filled with sadness.

I grew up in a house built by my great grandparents and there was a lot of eerie feelings at times but we just blew it off as the dog or something....then i lived in a boyfriends family home which there were a lot of experiences! Seeing ppl walk around the kitchen at night, a christmas house decoration flew across the room and landed just under a babys head onto the floor.....all by itself....things too numerous to mention ....noises and outright knocks n bangs, couldnt wait to get out of there....
