Oscar Winning Sound Mixer Mark Ulano & Sound Utility Patrushka Mierzwa talk in this new URSA Exclusive series about their work on 'Ad Astra.'
Mark & Patrushka are a husband & wife Sound Team who have made a lasting impact on the art of cinema audio since they began working together in the 1980s.
Their credits span well over 100 Film & Television Projects and their contributions to the film 'Titanic' in 1997 earned them an Oscar for 'Best Sound.'
They were especially busy this past awards season with both 'Ad Astra' & 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' being nominated for 'Best Sound.'
In Part One of this two part series our host Kim Kylland asks Mark & Patrushka how they were able to capture the original performances on a set with all the technical & creative challenges a film of this scale brings.
