I’m a Rangers man. I’m here as a football fan (and cos KZbin notified me for godknows what reason.). It’s great to see Scottish football paving the way for managers who are young to learn there trade, and also for managers who might not be big names, to finally get the chance they perhaps deserve to actually imprint themselves in world football, not just one part of the world. I'm not going to deny I was gutted when Eddie Howe pulled out but I really like what I've seen of Ange so far. He shows gravitas and a quiet, steely self belief. He may not be a European household name but when he puts that lot across the city back in their place it'll be miles the more satisfying for all that.

The first season at Yokohama was a rebuilding and changing the mindset of the players to a more attacking play style.They finished 12 but the following season the play style finally clicked and they played great attacking football and won the J league in 2019 with only 2 losses.

With the away goal rule scrapped in UEFA competitions from now on I feel that is HUGE for Celtic in particular. We all know the atmosphere is one of the best in the world at Celtic Park, yet we have a fairly poor home record. I think the problem was the away goals rule because we were too afraid to concede. With that gone and Ange’s very attacking style of play, I reckon once the fans are back Celtic Park will be a far tougher place for opponents to come! 🍀
