The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 15 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this, they have produced thousands of toys and tens of thousands of pieces.
Mega Brands was formed back in 1967 out of Montreal, Canada. In 2009, they acquired the licence for Halo, originally branded it as "Halo Wars: the Authentic Collectors Series". Soon after, this was dropped to just "Halo Mega Bloks", before its third rebrand into "Halo Mega Construx", a more adult take on the licence. This lasted up until roughly 2021, with a final rebrand into simply "Halo Mega". What comes next for the brand? Only time will tell...
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 returned to the original promise of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite seemed to be in a largely completed form. Season 4 and 5 hit hard, with excellent releases of Firefight KOTH, Infection and dozens of quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, the seasonal format would come to an end with the Spirit of Fire update, dropping the formula all together to be replaced by operations. It's hard to say what the future holds for Halo, but you better believe I'll be along for the ride.

I know you think this is a huge W, and in some ways like you said it is. But for most people without bias this was disappointing, misleading and a waste of time. They should have called it Mega BTS not Mega Revealed, they set expectations that new things would be revealed and when none of that actually happens live people got understandably angry.

The thing is, they never called it Mega Revealed. It was always Mattel Creations Revealed with a one hour Mega spotlight over a two day long stream. I do understand what you’re saying though and there could have been more communication on what we would be expected to see before the stream 🙏

Its in fine print on the site. Items revealed during the show will be for preorder they did nothing for mega that we didnt already know then dragged on pokemonset and lame hot wheels car. I ordered during motu slot on day 1. Cyclone was announced and went up much like rest of mattels products in same show like monster high and uno. Halo got a halo 2 anniversary set leaked to amazon where it sold out near instantly according to offical reddit and I hope thats a fall line up item shown on 28th like rest of mega products.

I think for halo side of mega I think the universe line could save them like the amount of people who missed the scarab if they made a universe halo 2 scarab added in a few the halo 2 elites maybe a red or gold one that being a fan favorite game and memorable mission would bring old collectors back or a green phantom from halo 3 with the elites could throw some flood in be perfect

I understand, but still i felt like Halo wasnt brought up as much. Mostly focused on MOTU and Pokemon. And the reveal section would have been amazing for them to show off the fall line. It was more of a let down than anything. I do wish mega does embrase more of their other IP. I know Pokemon is their money maker but just hope they work towards putting halo mega back on walmart and target shelves or selling their stuff on the mattel online store.

Mega is really connect to halo but I hope they also lean into aliens and Godzilla too cause they are both awesome ips, cod was alright but really I just like those three, also I know it conflicts with lego but I hope the mattel jurassic ip trickles down to mega cause i’d love to see what they can do with it

So okay, they cancelled other lines like TMNT, COD, Destiny, Alien, and probably (I hope not) MOTU, to put all the eggs into halo, pokemon and hot wheels basket, and they show us an already known Pokémon exclusive, a hotwheels car that it's been out for 4 months, the xbox exclusive that again, we've already saw, and a beatles set. But hey, they cancelled some MOTU sets, they have not show anything about 343 guilty spark and not even mention the halo 2 aniversary set...why would you not show anything that the comunity waits?

As much as I love mega they didnnot answer any questions. Whrn asked about bringing back old sets all they did was name sets we asked to be released again. "What colour is the sky" "Its the colour of the sky"

Hi, I'm not sure if you have an answer to this but i just purchased the "multiplayer mayhem set" I'm in northern ireland in the uk. Do you know if I'll be charged anythin extra when it arrives? I've never ordered from america before but i assume being a mega halo fan you have lol. Anyway, any answer would be great. Thanks!

The questions like "What is your favorite set? How did you get into making these? What's your favorite pokemon?" and such always seem fake to me because we don't really know the designers are aren't interested in their personal lives or preferences. What fans really want to know is which sets are going to be released in the future, how they might plan to improve on past mistakes, why they quit with Monster High (Mega) and other brands, etc..

Maybe mega should bring back freaking old ip instead relaying license like halo or call of duty and any license. just bring back mega bloks dragons or pyrates and i would like to see them back

I think they teased the idea of looking back to old IPs like Pyrates so it's possible. The main issue is that it's harder to convince retailers to carry their original IPs than it is to convince them to carry existing IPs like Pokemon.

The pokemon mega line is not my favorite thing….and I hate that it’s the only thing I can find at any store…..I really miss were I could just walk in a Walmart or target….and easily find a halo set.

Other than the "mattel creations revealed" title setting up expectations Mega/mattel clearly weren't planning on fulfilling in this stream, this was a fun watch similar to your Mega interviews. You said before not to expect halo reveals so In that way, it wasn't really a let down. Timing just feels off with the uncertainty in little communication and what feels to the community like Halo being put on the sideburner instead. I enjoyed it and I would love to own that prototype Yorai Papa Kev flexed.

when do we get to hear WHY things are the way they are? Why does Mega make hero paks messed up for so long? why do sets get released and so many rumors around the issues with them? why are toys not being sold in stores anymore? why is china selling fake items with mega packaging? With 0 communications coming from this massive company says a lot about what they are about. These videos on what mega is doing is great but time and energy could be used for more importamt things.
