It was because of you that I came across these sleeves years ago. When I got into vinyl again, I wanted to get sleeves for my record and came across your video. Bought some of their products and have never looked at any other company. I love the dual pocket with the flap.

I've tried all their sleeves, from gatefolds to singles with or without tape or flaps. I now only use singles without flaps, tape, or pockets. I purchase the 12", 12.75, and 13" singles. As for the gatefold albums, I keep those depending on the thickness in single outer sleeves with the record placed outside and behind the album in its own inner sleeve.

Discovered these about 6 months ago. Love them and I am slowly sleeving my whole record collection with them. Only issue is the speed of delivery which can take weeks form the European Distributor. This does not take away from the fact that they have taken my collection to a new level. My jackets all seem to take on a new lease of life. Even the old and busted ones look great again.

Great video! The big pictures are what did it for me too! I am 45 and started out collecting CDs when I was a teenager, but really got into vinyl in the past three years. CDs are great, but there is just something about holding that 12 inch album cover in your hand and looking at the pictures, art, and liner notes.

I was introduced to VSS by Michael45, tried them and never looked back. They’re the best for fit, slimness, storing the records separate. Inner sleeves beat mofi hands down with the extra thickness so they don’t crease. Then you’ve got the box set covers which I’ve yet to try. They are hands down the best. If you’re UK based, the distributor is mint sleeves, if you’re in Europe it’s the Michael45 shop

I love that he said they test the inners. Financially, I’ve had to buy cheap PYP brand inners as I start my collection. I think it’s an improvement from paper sleeves, but I’m worried about long term storage and off-gassing. Someday, I hope to switch to Vinyl Storage Solutions.

Been using VSS for a while and they are great!! Also love they are in Canada and offer the free shipping at $75, BUT he demonstrated with the gatefold one of my issues with their flap sleeves, they open all the time super easily and then can get bent and messed up without noticing. Also I wrote them once to ask about sleeves for small box sets (and no the 13'' do not fit actual box sets), I ordered one of every one of their box set sleeves (which is awesome they have so many) but NONE of them fit my small 3-4 LP sets. They never responded to my email (as far as I saw, may have gone to junk, no hate AT ALL). Will continue to use them for sure, happy I now know what box set sleeves will fit which sets. Their smallest one is great for Analogues UHQR series. Hope to see a slightly smaller one in the future for the 3-4 Lp sets.

Just last week i received my first VSS order. 30 Gatefold sleeves, on the recommendation from a Rhino Hi Fidelity facebook group. They are the best cover i have. Postage to Australia was a killer. But will be ordering again with a large bulk order.

Whenever i go rooting through thrift store records. I like switching out crappy flimsy sleeves for some nice paper poly Deutsch Grammophon or Angle inners. Found a few strange ones over the years. Like an RCA one. Only one i ever seen of that. Same with the old ones I remember my dad having when i was a kid. They had some kinda square wave pattern all around the edges. And one just on the inside edge of the paper. Normally see them in gold. But have found a red and a green one. As for outer sleeves, I like a nice clear one thats on the thicker side. And especially the ones that don't go skidding off anything you put them down on. At one point I ended up with some really nice clear ones. But switched them out after maybe a few days. It was watching the entire album cover slide right off the top of my turntable and fall behind the cabinet. Not sure what kind those were, but definitely a sleeve i avoid at all costs now. They also feel different then a normal sleeve, so its easy to spot in the massive $5 bin our local store. So i will switch it out for a better one. And guess I'm off to take a look at what they have. Been itching to get about 1500, or maybe 2000 brand new paper sleeves for 45s. That way I'm stocked up for awhile. Only need a 1000 just to switch them all out for now. But if theres a shift in a color tone. Then that's a bummer. I found some gold ones about a month ago, and they are nowhere near what my other gold ones are. A good example of that is those gold A&M sleeves. Some look way lighter then others. Or darker.

I love supporting Canadian. Just bought my first inner sleeves from them. I will look at getting outer next with that discount. Is it worth it tho? THey are a bit more expensive compared to amazon ones. Groove vinyl for example.

Holy crap! That's a lot of sleeves. Love them, my entire collection of over 1K records is in VSS dual pocket sleeves. Propypropylene is also archival, whereas polyvinylchloride (PVC) is not archival (acid release over time). However, I would not use the resealable ones, because the glue WILL degenerate over time. What I would really love is dual pocket album sleeve. So I rather use two dual pocket sleeves to make my own gatefolds. With printed inner sleeves, I would not put the record in it. I put the empty printed inner sleeve in the second pocket with inner sleeved record separate from printed inner sleeve. Dropping record into inner sleeve has potential of splitting seam at bottom of printed inner. my 2c.

Does VSS have any sleeves that provide a nice snug fit without flaps? I use the ClearBags BLP1NF which I consider the best sleeves ever, modern version of the legendary ‘Blake’ sleeves. They fit many of my gatefold covers as well.

Would be nice if they carried cardboard jackets, which I did not find on their website. These are hard to find, and necessary since some old vinyl records I find are nice, but the cardboard jacket is nasty.

I agree. I have a couple dozen covers in frames and because I still want to listen to their records I had to purchase replacement cardboard jackets. There are no high quality replacements on the market . . . just jackets that feel like card-stock.

I still find it amusing you call the Album Sleeves by the name Jackets. In the UK as I have just stated, we call the Covers for the albums Sleeves or Covers. To me a Jacket is what you wear over clothing. The products shown here we call sleeves too.
