Would it be ridiculous to say save about 1/3 of each of the 3 barrels you want to blend as single barrels or as a small bottle sampler to sell along side the blend so you can taste each constituent of the blend?

Depends on the yield. It's basically a wholesale price for a bottle times how many full cases of bottles come out of the barrel. We are lucky enough to have a large retail partner that we distribute these via so they don't cost anything unless we can't move them.

Single barrel is straightforward. But when blending, multiple barrels involved, is the blend determined by equal percentages. In other words, if three barrels is the blend 33% each?

They don't have to be, but that was roughly what was blended there for us to try. Sometimes a barrel comes up short but all of these should be roughly equal.
