My doctor would say that the skin around the face is extra sensitive. If my teenage daughter was watching this, I would never encourage a roller or stamper on the face. That's great that this is a dermatologist but sometimes less is more. I've actually had my daughter throw out some of the cleanser creams and wash her face less. In this case, it has helped her. We've gone with an ultra sensitive cleanser. Then follow up with a cream/gel treatment with either benzoyl peroxide in it or salicylic acid.
