Great content, love the DLive and you should show more on it. Curious, with the varying rooms night to night; how do you get such a great LR recording for your GoPro concert footage? Had this discussion with fellow engineers; smaller rooms one mostly supplements the vocals and such to the band volume on stage, and larger rooms you can place more in the pa. But how do you get such a good LR mixbus recording here night to night?

With this tour there wasn’t a lot of “small”rooms so the main variance was odd large sounding halls…where maybe I pushed vocals and guitars more but overall my mix stayed fairly consistent due with system tuning. Seems the same but there’s definitely changes. Hopefully I can show how this changes from show to show sometime soon! Thanks for watching as well.

What are you guys using for the under-mic mounts and other mic mounts? Some of them look like smallrig super clamp mounts, other ones look different, just trying to learn about the different types that are common.

Small rig magic arms are the best. There is some LP claws on this drum kit as well but those have now been swapped for smallrig arms as well

Not on this tour. Everything is handled by an m32c on stage for in ears. We run a split between my desk and the bands ears.
