I think its becuase of the new biomes Stampy, since your lovely world was created such a long time ago, the seeds are different so that you get the new biomes. at least thats my awnser. please reply Stampy

It's crazy to see how far you've come. What a crazy journey it's been shaping the world into what it looks like today. If I hadn't watched the series from the beginning, I would have a real hard time even recognizing that this was the original world. Especially the town area, the Finland, and the mountain you blew up with TNT.

I’m also building his world but on PC and with his seed. I have gone back to 1.6.6 and started from there. It’s weird because pc has no world borders so yeah. I wish I could do this on my old 360 and do it the real way.

The chopped off thing happens when you make a world and dont fully explore it, and update the game a bunch and new terrain generates in the unexplored spots

The reason there are cut off hills is because not all of the chunks were generated when the backup was made. The cut off hills are from the same seed but in a new update.

Note from 3 years later: I wrote this when i was young so there are a lot of typos. (dont care, cry about the typos, bye.) The first world i spawned in was a desert for miles was just mesa and desert (lucky i watched stampy and found out what to do) i spawned in a village and stole all the food and i couldn't re plant the seeds.I knew what a hoe could do but because there was no wood to craft one.The already it was sunset so i went into a village home and camped there(Thing was the home i went in had no door so OOF).I went outside to face the night and then i was awful (I put myself into hard cus i thought i was a pro cus i watched stampy all the time) I got blown up by a creeper ,shreked by a spider and my brain was eaten by a zombie.After that i played the tutorial to learn to be a legit pro. The funniest part was the battle for the stone sword (The noob sword) i made a stone sword and my sis killed me with her WOOD SWORD and now she owned the sword. Later i decided to make a new one so i got stone but i used a stick to collect it so it diserpeared i felt like i wasted sooooo much time when i used my pickaxe to mine it. A few days later... my sis came back to my first world and made a home (btw it was still left in hard mode so mobs spawned) so a creeper and ender man came along a i rushed and said "LEAVE THE GAME ITS A CREEPY MAN AND A CREEPER" THEN we switched it to peacful mode and we continued to build the world. As time passed i became better at the game and deleted our hard work over the months. And now i have played mine craft for less than a year and i have found tones of diamonds to this day i still don't forget the joy of being a noob Please like if you have enjoyed your first time playing minecraft Plus reply your story of your first time playing minecraft and what you built

You can do it because I did. What you need to do is go into the settings if your on the Xbox 360 and go to Minecraft then delete the data to Minecraft to the version that his world was made in then you can download the world and the seed will work. Then it will say to update and once you have the seed on the latest update then you have the seed.

This is so fucking sad to me as a long time viewer of Stampy. As long as I can remember I wanted to join his lovely world. I know this is his second and alt acc but it just brings me a tear to see my childhood hero stop making videos on his world. Its just the feeling of nostalgia, that makes me feel happy and sad inside at the same time. I remember watching Stampy, PoppularMMOS, Dantdm, etc back in 2012-2013 when most of them started uploading. At the time I was in 1st grade, and now I'm about to graduate from 8th. The seed doesn't work although I found a way to solve this probelm. 1. Get to TU1. There is a Tutorial on how to do it (Go to your Storage and click Minecraft then scroll through the files until you find Title Update then delete that File. It will bring you to TU1 no matter what version you first played) 2. Enter the seed. No explanation needed. 3. Load the world. No explanation needed. 4. Update the game. If you don't update a game on the Xbox 360 you will immediately be signed out of Xbox Live. If you update the game the world will still be loaded the same way it was before (I did this once and had Jungle trees placed randomly across the world). 5. Play Mincraft. You now play Stampys World in your current version of Minecraft. I hope it works...

Reason why there's those cut-off areas: your world uses a seed from an older version, so putting in the seed in a newer version of minecraft made some chunks glitch and choose if it should use new terrain or not. This happens in the pc version too, but it can be dine in other ways too (wow, i am a nerd xD)
