Hey there, Sega. A few months late but want to share my thoughts. I love content like this. RGG has been nailing it in terms of game and social media quality. Keep up the good work! Don't let them change for us across the pond. We love this series because of what is as.

Happy to hear their feelings (in multiple videos at this point) that they don't want to compromise future games to try to appeal to a broader international audience - because clearly they already do appeal to fans worldwide. I'd be sad to see the distinctive Japanese flavor start to be diluted. On the other hand, I'm hoping the single-use DLC like in Isshin isn't the start of RGG trying to infect future games with pseudo microtransactions.

Looks like he is going to have that hairstyle in the beginning and then he will change it back to his original hairstyle from Y7.

I do hope that focusing on three games isn’t them biting off more than they can chew.

When people are passionate about their craft and do it with the thought of being proud and creating something fun in mind instead of maximizing profit, it shows. Yes, there have been some movements I haven't liked from RGG: - Moving to Unreal Engine for the Ishin remake, causing some stuttering issues - The ever increasing amount of DLC content (we all know it should be unlockable in-game) - Not releasing Lost Judgement on PC day 1 And even then, I can understand UE would make their job easier in many ways for Ishin (but please avoid it like the plague for 8 and Gaiden). I can understand people higher above in the foodchain than Yokoyama would impose that bullshit DLC content just to touch themselves with the idea of slightly higher profits. And I can believe the Judgement ports were delayed due to Johnny's BS, as they have absolutely no reason why they would delay it on purpose for a double dip, given their track record of multi platform simulatenous releases. However, nobody can deny their devotion to their games, their fans and themselves. I would love to work for RGG one day in any shape or fashion as an independent artist myself. Best of luck with Gaiden and 8! I will be looking forward to taking a long weekend off work just to play 8 :P

They switch to UE for Ishin because they wanted to see if they are ready to fully switch to UE5 after LaD 8. They think Dragon Engine is old and they probably don't want to spend time upgrading or making Dragon Engine 2.

@@DojimaNoRyu as far as I read they just liked the lightning more for daylight scenes in Unreal. Also, matter of cost, probably cheaper for them to use Unreal and easier to port stuff onto it. I really hope they do not move to unreal. Dragon Engine still looks and works excellently. Most Unreal Engine games have major performance issues (even Ishin does), so yeah, if they move to Unreal it's the fans who will lose. The studio will probably not get much in return and the managers, investors, CEOs and all that crap who are 100% disengaged from the world are the only ones that will see a small bonus in their pay from the time>money saved by moving into the atrocious engine.

@@luismyWH Yes, they also mentioned the lighting stuff but they also wanted to try UE. There was a interview after the RGG summit, one of the developers said they consider Dragon Engine "old". I like dragon engine too. Lost Judgment gameplay is the best in the series and the graphics are good. It would be really sad if they abandon dragon engine when it was just getting good .

@@DojimaNoRyu exactly my thoughts. To break a stick in their favor the Ishin port plays as I would expect from a RGG game, and at times it looks visually amazing. Some other times it looks like a game from 2 generations ago and the stuttering issues bother me a bit too much. Still love them though. I just hope they never cease to have the amazing narrative, combat and fun element that made them who they are.

Unashamed to admit one of my biggest reasons for loving the Dragon engine is the ability to demolish or send flying any stuff I run into. especially bicycles.

I have to say that i enjoyed most of the series combat. But ishin remakes combat is worse compared to original one and i didn't enjoyed boss fights and it's not fan at all! Please don't apply super armor to all your bosses in game. Now I'm not sure that Gaiden's gameplay gonna be fun
