Seeing Kyle tear up at the end almost brought a tear to my eye, like it sucks that you put all this hard work into your channel for 15 years just to see it vanish abruptly. I can relate, even thought it hasn’t happened to me yet. Even though my videos (not trying to advertise myself) aren’t as high-budget as MLW’s, I have been uploading for about 2 1/2 years. And it would suck to see all that progress go away abruptly. I definitely understand Kyle here and hopefully those hackers never step foot on social media again.

Thank you so much Kyle for opening up about what happened to the channel. Have been super concerned. Got super into MLW since 2021 and got my brother into it and did not want it to end. Thankfully you guys got everything back and hopefully it stays that way. Screw the hackers.

Man, I'm 51 and MLW is appointment viewing for me. The pod is on every Tuesday morning on my drive to work. No embarrassment here. It's tremendously fun content and seeing how much the production values continue to improve is really neat to follow. My only problem is that I can't get my son interested in it 😆

I actually can’t stand hackers. Feelin for Kyle I know how much he puts into those videos. He said years back that it’s 35+ hours per series video and the tour vid was 100 hours. Imagine how many hours in a year and throughout all the other years that he’s put into it and Tommy too and everyone in MLW for that matter. It’s really scary to see stuff like this happen and to a company like MLW makes it even more scary.

I’m almost 45, found the channel in 2018, in 2020 watched every single video ever made. No shame. I tell my friends all about it and show them highlights. One of my buddies used to be a Knorp so I show him. Anyone with kids I show. But even my nephews only liked the Rober video which makes me sad

Been here since 2017ish (mallards world series win?) so MLW has been here since I was a younger teenager. Just enjoy chucking it on and doing other stuff, like right now im writing a paper.

Re - security: 2FA is an obvious one, but never ever open an executable. Macs much safer in that regard. In an ideal world the "computer or with the videos, audio, and content on it" is a different machine from the "computer that handles the admin stuff from outside sources". That way even if it does happen there is an air gap between the content editing/login/uploading and the external things coming in for media and sales queries via email.

My only question for the hackers is, why? Why this group of people? This is one of, if not the most wholesome communities I’ve ever had the luck of finding. Just a group of guys, having enough drive and passion to truly do what they want for a living. And for another group to come in on a Trojan Horse and try to tear it down for no reason whatsoever breaks my heart. You guys will get through this, and I know it may be difficult to see it right now, but you will get something good out of this. God bless you all!

Man, Kyle. I know you were going through a lot with the whole channel hacking incident. Through the whole issue, I was hoping and praying that you would be able to get everything back in one piece. Nearly 15 years of hard work and dedication to the sport of wiffle ball falling into the wrong hands, it just made me so mad. Like, who do they think they are hacking other people’s channels for their own personal purposes?! Do they even care about that person’s hard work?! (Sorry, I just get irked by this kind of stuff.) Every time I saw the channel come back in one piece, I just thank God, because I have been watching for about a year now, and seeing everything gone, I was legit hurt. Hopefully this channel stays up and safe from malicious hackers, and Kyle, I hope you feel better soon.
