Looking for a clip from 88 or 89 from Jimmy Johnson's Sunday night show. I was one of the local school age cheerleaders that got to make a quick appearance right before or during commercial breaks. Where can I find them? ( was taken at the Cowboys practice field in Coppell /Los Colinas

I probably don't fit in with the other commenters here (I'm not much of a football fan, sorry), but I saw Taylor Swift live for two of her tours here, Speak Now & Red, and just a small tip for fellow concert goers, DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR SEATS IN THE "UPPER CONCOR" SECTION. Also known as, the nosebleed section. I made this mistake for the first tour in 2011, and I felt airsick. I swear. It's like you're in a helicopter. Yeah, the big screen is a great deal of help so it's not like your view is horrible, but seriously I felt as if I was going to fall when I had to go down the stairs to leave the concert. Keep in mind this is one of the biggest indoor stadiums out there, so when your seats are 10 rows from the top, you're WAYYYY up there. I reccomend (for concerts): getting floor seats, seats on the first deck (which is what I did. Fantastic view!) or on the second deck even. 3rd or 4th is just too high in my opinion. For football, I'd stick with deck 1 & 2 as well.

Sound for a concert is really bad just like any huge bubble would be...sad but people dont figure it out until it is too late I saw the first ever concert in this facility. Before a football game was played. George straight and it sounded like I was listening to a speaker in my bathtub. He was awesome still of course Football and everything else is awesome!

Agreed, it’s because there are 7 levels of luxury boxes and the upper deck is above all of them. All about that $$

I used to be a cowboys fan and then when they forced people out of their homes to build this gaudy monstrosity and then renamed it At&t stadium I just couldn't support them anymore. To me the cowboys represent so much that is wrong with professional sports. Way too much glitz and greed.
@nickc8819

@Zipline Shazam, The process was painful, but it was necessary. The city of Arlington was fair, providing benefits and a moving allowance. Each owner occupied single family resident was offered $22,500 plus moving expenses in addition to the fair market value of the property and commercial property owners were offered $10,000 in addition to the fair market value of the property. Residential and multi-family tenants received $5,250 per household plus moving expenses while commercial tenants received $10,000 plus moving expenses. The stadium’s opening has been one of the greatest economic drivers for the city, providing thousands of jobs and an expanding sales tax revenue. If you combine this new revenue stream with the $500,000 expected annually. You sound like one of those Philadelphia Eagle Michael ConVIC dog fighter fans....perhaps 49ers bend your knee fan..either way, walk away.

Nick C"The process was necessary" ? For who ?? Even though they got "fair prices" for their homes, if they didn't want to leave they should not have been forced to do so. I'm now a Green Bay Packers fan. The Packers are owned by the town. Their stadium has it's original name "Lambeau Field". They haven't covered it with some giant corporation's logo feces. The name Lambeau has history behind it, the field was given that name and it's been saved out of tradition and not out of trying to make a profit. Also, in my opinion, football was meant to be played outside in the elements. The Packer's Fans are a hell of a lot tougher and more loyal than the cowboy fans. A true fan stands with their team in the elements no matter what. The Packer fans brave the harsh winter conditions with their team. The cowboy fans have to sit in an airconditioned shopping mall with a giant tv screen to keep them in a state of constant mind numbing stimulation. AT&T stadium has no soul to it. It's all glitz and plastic covered by an air tight seal of corporate greed.

@ZiplineShazam, get off your high horse, sounds like you're are salty for the Dallas Cowboys. You do realize it's sports entertainment buddy..like golf or tennis. If you watch any NFL, you also are part of the problem, to your own argument. The whole NFL is a brand, for example, Mercedes-Benz Falcons, Ford stadium-Detroit... You contribute watching Multi-million dollars guys just to "play" a game. Like we did outside in the streets. What's nezxt, are you gonna bitch about the Raiders building a stadium in Vegas...yes , let's all contribute to the gambling and prostitution...but you won't say that cuz, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

@ZiplineShazam, I understand what you are saying, and it has gotten alot out of hand. Some people are obsessed with football as if a religion, some fight or kill over a game, It seems the whole entertainment world has taken mind control...making people think only about money, rings, cars, big houses. The Olympics has gotten that way as well.

Yet Jerry Jones never mentions where this eyesore is located at. Here's a hint. Arlington Texas. Not even located in Dallas County. The team has nothing at all to do with the City of Dallas. And Jerry Jones insults a city of over 370,000 people by not respecting the fact that his team has not played a home game in Dallas since the 1971 season. That was over 43 years ago. And I happen to live in Arlington Texas.
@burgerrider7773

Lots of people who actually live in Arlington Texas do. Or is telling a city of over 375,000 people that they don't matter good to you?
@burgerrider7773
@burgerrider7773 10 жыл бұрын
How about whole States? Remember there are 2 NFL teams that tell 8.9 million New Jersey residents that they don't matter. And, I do that. Back to my original comment. It ain't 1971, and the Cotton Bowl is still standing, and used for Football. But, Jerry Jones has to insult an entire metro area. Because the Metro area is correctly named the Dallas Fort-Worth Metro-plex. Not the Dallas metro area.
@NUTclan4ever
@NUTclan4ever 10 жыл бұрын
Good grief. Your whining is pointless. The stadium is a net positive for your city: revenue for local businesses, jobs for local residents, property value increases, close proximity to watch the Dallas Cowboys, and on. And when Cowboys headquarters is relocated to Frisco, it will be a positive for _that_ city. I've never heard of Arlington residents who are also Cowboys fans complaining in such a way. You must not be a fan, or hold a grudge against Jerruh.
@burgerrider7773
@burgerrider7773 10 жыл бұрын
Yet the Dallas metro area is in Ohio. Arlington Texas is located in the Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex. Jerry doesn't just disrespect Arlington. He disrespects the entire Metroplex. Because of the fact that since the middle of the 1971 season. They have played exactly 0 games in Dallas. What they are is the Arlington Cowboys. I live in Arlington Texas. Do you? Most Businesses hate the fact that Jerry Jones disrespects the city. And, if he didn't. He would have changed the name to either North Texas, D-FW, or Arlington. But, because he refuses to do this. He is telling the entire world that the entire Metroplex is 1 big city. News flash. It ain't, nor has it ever been. Arlington aint even located in Dallas County. Try Tarrant County.
@aldomancilla7256
@aldomancilla7256 10 жыл бұрын
Burgerrider The city of Dallas and Dallas County disrespected Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys by not providing the appropriate funds ($400 million) for their part of the construction of what is now AT&T Stadium (1.3 billion). Dallas with all it's money and power didn't want to pony up for a new stadium, so Jerry went elsewhere, you can't really blame him for that, we needed a new stadium. Your city ponied up the respect the Dallas Cowboys deserved and offered them a home location for the stadium and the funds to cover the city's part of building a new stadium. The sheer majesty of the stadium can only be describes as "you just need to see it for yourself" and this could only be done this way, the Jerry way, the Cowboys way, thanks to the city of Arlington, but make no mistake, the name of the team is the Dallas Cowboys, and that will never change because they still represent Dallas, and like it or not that name includes everyone around the metroplex.

"Never been in the Super Bowl". The Cowboys have won 5 Superbowls since they were founded ing 1960. That's more than almost all the other teams in the NFL. Unless you meant as of late then yes you are right but you're wrong about them being bad. For the last 4 years the team has been playing at a high caliber and are playoff contenders.
