I’m very sure they will. Most of the formula 1 drivers are close having there is only 20 of them in the whole world 😅. Max and Daniel are still friends despite his move to Renault. I’m sure Carlos and Lando will too.

NOB lol 😂 you don’t know what you’re saying. iRacing is an unbelievably realistic sim across the board, but that doesn’t mean every piece of content they put out works as it should IRL. There are a few cars in iRacing that are notoriously unrealistic - the McLaren F1 car being the most infamous culprit. The old V8 Supercars also didn’t work correctly (the new ones are WAY better), and the Lotus 49 probably isn’t quite right, just to name a few. Just because Lando (and I) know that certain cars in iRacing don’t work as they should doesn’t make the sim any less amazing or realistic

@@frodo5882 ive never found an actual answer for this but it seems like it's a combination of it being very hard to drive and F3 is just way more popular on iracing. I wish they would put the new F3 and F1 cars in iracing with tracks like the red bull ring. 😩

@@frodo5882 I think due to the tires it spins way to quick therefore you cant really go full throttle at least when I tested it some time ago. The tires of iRacing are not the best thats the problem for now I would say.

@@chungushumongous94 Yep I know! I met Oli at Brands for the W Series finale, kind of a funny encounter. Since Cool Performance provide the sims for W Series, he came out of the Cool Performance tent right when the champion's podium was happening and he spots me wearing my Lando Norris cap, so he shouts over to me "Hey we have a Lando Norris fan over here!" so I go over to him and start talking to him about something else the I ask him "So you know Lando, then?" and he's like "Yeah I do" so I ask "How do you know him?", he goes "Well he's my brother" and in that instance I made a fool of myself, I say "You're Adam Norris?" and then immediately I realise, Adam is their dad's name 😂 I correct myself, we laugh about it and I ask for a photo with him, he seems very flattered about it!

Carlos is smart to get a sim rig. Sim racing has gotten so realistic that every up and coming driver can get hundreds of hours of practice in over ther competition. Does it always equal on track skill, no, an it never will, but you can’t deny there are many skills that can and will improve with using a sim rig on your downtime, and when your at the top level like Carlos you really need to take every advantage you can get to keep improving. One of the best driver lineups Mclaren could ever ask for. Get in there Carlos!
