Sure, he might genuinely want to connect with these specific people, but he also wants the rest of the studio audience to be entertained, not to mention he knows the cameras are rolling and this footage might end up somewhere permanently.

Astronaut diapers are called Maximum Absorbency Garments (MAGs). Which I think would be confusing if Space Force ever got into a firefight. You hear someone shout out "I'm changing mags!" and are not sure if they need more ammo or just pooped themselves.

For those of you who don't know ---- the Space Force has been around since the start of the Cold War. Since around the time Russia sent the first satellite (Sputnik) into space, The U.S. got NASA and people within each of the military branches, to study space science and probable threats coming primarily from Russia through the use of space. All branches of the military and NASA worked closely together on all space issues ---the consolidation of the people involved, and their work became unofficially known, within it's self, as the Space Force. After over half a century and long past due, it was finally consolidated into one entity, a new branch of service. Being a new branch of service they now have their own budget, recognition and their own distinct uniforms etc. Obama as well as Bush wanted to do this in the past, but it never came to fruition. This is similar to the Marines when they branched off from the Navy, or the Air Force branching off from the Army.

As a Combat Veteran of the Air Force, it is an insult to have my former base, renamed a space base, just so a draft dodger could create a branch. Thank goodness for the PACT act, I got 2 MRI's and an EEG in 4 months this year. Dissolve it back into the Air Force, and take that DOD money to give lunches to our school children, increase wages, etc.
