You don't hear hockey players about studying too much because it's primarily men and men have always had a professional path. In the case of many NHLers, they don't even finish college. Besides that, I apparently owe you all an apology. I wrote you off as a hockey bro podcast from the clips I had seen but this is the first full episode I watched (because Jess' insta said it was her best hockey talk in a while or ever). The amount of prep and respect put into this interview was evident. It's great. Going to watch Macklin's full interview now. 😁

Fucking awesome interview, guys. Thank you for having her on. Sick of hearing guys on Twitter act like she hasn’t earned every bit of this. She’s the #1 bad bitch, love her even though I hate the Kraken.

I loved this interview so much! On a really random note, I couldn't stop looking at the books tipped over on the shelf behind Dan lol

I googled two things during this interview. Jessica's scarf. Actually not a bad look. And the OIL CAN. Awesome roadside attraction.

Really hard for these guys to not look at their phones when their guest is speaking, lol. I guess that is just the way nowadays.

Nobody had cell phones in 2009? Classic Canada. How do they run this sport, honestly? Its always Canada first no wonder why they are the 4th/4 sports in America.
