Too bad the interviewer didn’t ask more interesting questions, she blew a good opportunity. I came upon this show in 2020, well after it left prime time, and immediately fell in love with it. Wonderfully talented cast and writing. One of the rare series I can watch over and over without getting tired of it.

I'm so upset it's ending after season 9. I binged it all over Spring Break. It's helped with my depression. When I first started watching I'd ran to the store and I remember being so depressed and on the way home I remember thinking it was on and making a sandwich and watching it. It's honestly helped so so much.

I was so surprised/disappointed when Mike sold his share of the diaper business to bail out Sue!!! She ALWAYS gets her way and yea I know Mike is the dad but the best thing he could have done was to let her deal with her own mistake! so she has a year out of college....she needs to deal with real life and not always having her parents rescue her....so disappointed!!!!

Mike is such a loving father. Watching that scene broke my heart. I don't think the kids will know how much he truly loves them. Twenty grand to study acting seems like a giant waste of money. It might have been a blessing in disguise for Sue to attend Orson Community College. I can't stand her significant other. He's a quintessential you know what, but I've got to give credit to the writers for poking fun of that demographic really well. I personally think The Middle is the greatest show of all time. What this show manages to do in twenty two minutes is incredible.

+Oscar Rodriguez I agree Mike is a great dad! but sue should not have been bailed out ! It was totally her fault and she is old enough to know better and she should have paid the consequences!! It wouldn't have hurt her to go back home work at spudsees for the year and then be responsible and sign up for herself! ! Does she even know what Mike sicraficed (?spelling) for her???? Sue ALWAYS gets what she wants in the long run.... and I don't know why mike is still married to frankie........

If Sue knew her father paid for her tuition, I don't think she'd accept it (At least I hope). It breaks my heart a bit, because Mike is basically for acting lessons. If you really think about it, I think Sue is Mike's favorite child. Mike and Sue's slumber party in season 6 was so darn sweet. Mike's still with Frankie for a number of reasons, one of those reasons is their children. Mike had to grow up without a mother. I don't think he's going to want his children to only see one parent occasionally. Plus, he loves Frankie and Frankie loves him. Remember when they sang "more than. Feeling" together? They're the perfect married couple.

+Oscar Rodriguez ~I was only partially kidding about Mike staying with Frankie...he is such a great person and she is always putting him down. I don't like the way she treats him. But I do know they love each other....and the "kids" are old enough so IF they did separate it wouldn't be a big deal.... as for Sue....she depends on her parents to always be there for her so even if she found out what Mike did she wouldn't do anything....to me Frankie is the one who totally messed up in raising those kids. Every time she says "we are lazy lazy parents" I always yell no! YOU are the lazy one! hahaha But I think my perception of Sue changed drastically when she cut her hair?? lol....Mike is my favorite. then it was Axl but not so much this season. he is sickening when it comes to his air head girlfriend April....so now Brick is 2nd, Axl 3rd, and Frankie & Sue at the bottom. ...but in the 1st season episode 1 I did like them both! The only thing about Brick I don't like is his gf Cindy....
