There is art of their autopsy but I do not want to get in trouble. Look it up yourself. Sources: en.wikipedia.o... www.atlasobscu... www.britishmus... artuk.org/disc... Famous Imposters - Bram Stoker

Eyyy it’s my boy-girl, Chevalier! They were one of the first Servants I ever got, and still is one of my strongest Sabers. I always feel a special connection with the Servants I first got, Chevalier included.

I really enjoyed the way you told the story of D'eon as shes one of the few people in history who sticks out to me and I actually dig into a bit though I have to say I do have like two notes. First, trap is not at all a suiting term, jokes aside a modern term that could likely be used for the historical figure from that brief autopsy description would likely be 'intersex' in other words when people are born with both male and female characteristics. Much like how d'eon dispite having male genetalia also had breasts. Being intersex is about as common as having ginger hair, its just not a super well known term or concept. Sounds like a suiting term but I could be wrong. Regardless at least from what Ive read most modern historians acknowledge D'eon as a trans woman and while I think trap is fine in some contexts (for example people who are explicitly know to just be crossdressing) it has certainly been used as a negative term for trans women and that should be taken into account. Second, while I'm not sure if it's historically accurate, supposedly upon D'eon's return to France she was outfitted with dresses made by Marie Antoinette's tailor, or some other course of events boiling down to Marie gifting D'eon dresses that escapes my mind. It isn't much but I do believe they shared some minimal interactions.

Listening to this, I'm still surprised that the French even recognize them as a woman.

It sounds to me that they weren't biologically male, but intersex. It's more common than you'd think and the biology goes deeper than genitals.

French historians kind of agree on him having Klinefelter

Id like to also point out there is a whole anime series dedicated to d'eon simply titled "le chevlier d'eon" Its a really unique spy thriller/fantasy horror thing going for it. It also has an interesting take on the ambiguity of d'eons gender

Now i know amazing vid (going back through all your behidn the servant playlist) yhe only issue was the use of the word trap when refering to a possible transgender or intersex character, apart from that great vid

A good video! I would urge you not to use the word ”trap” in this manner, though. If you want a well nuanced and argued pov check Are Traps Gay by Contrapoints.

No, its a fictional character You would be totally right if he was using it on a real person without consent but fgo deon is not real
@Sgublaka942 жыл бұрын
@@akiradkcn I don’t quite agree. I don’t think it’s the same but for example I wouldn’t use the n word for a fictional character. Using harmuful words can be hurtful even in reference to fictional characters. That being said, yes, it’s imo not as bad as saying that about a real living person!

I'm wondering why Chevalier de Saint-Georges is not in FGO when he really had a fencing match with D'Eon in Real History. To be frank, I think it's very racist of Type Moon and FGO not to include Joseph Bologne as a Servant with D'Eon when those two knew each other IRL. Representation Matters! Type Moon stop distorting history and represent minorities that contributed to music and fencing!
